Found ⚜ Rumple & Belle
Enough was enough… she couldn’t wait around any longer. Belle grabbed her dark blue coat, slipped on her gloves and laced up her boots. She was going to find Rumple. Emma had said that he was alive, but so far he hadn’t made his way to the pawn shop. Surely he would have come to her by now if everything was alright. Something had to have gone wrong and she was going to find out what. She made her way to the forest on the outskirts of Storybrook, just before the Welcome to Storybrook sign. It was so cold out she could see her breath. The forest was consumed in a thick grey fog, as was the usual in the early mornings there. Belle tromped through the dirt, pushing branches out of her way. She managed to find a sort of path leading further into the distance. ”Rumple!" Her voice echoed. There was no reply. She had to keep trying. ”Rumple! Rumple are you there?” She quickened her pace and changed her direction. Still she heard nothing but her own voice. ”Rumple please answer me!” She paused to listen. Birds chirped, leaves crunched against each other from the wind… but no voices. What was she doing? She felt so hopeless.
It felt like weeks, months perhaps, but it had only been a few days since the death of his son. Since that wrenched witch took something precious from him; she certainly was not going to get away with such a heinous act. For now, he was locked away, stuck in cage to which he could not escape. If the dagger was not in her possession, it certainly would not be a problem to ring her neck.
As Rumple sat there, discouraged...heartbroken.., his dark brown hues stared upon the ground that filled with strings of hay and gold; he could only think of one person that could comfort him in this time of need. His perfect Belle, the one woman who truly changed his life. The wicked witch seemed to be preoccupied with trying to take over and destroy her sister that he took this time to tear away the lock upon his cage. This was his only chance, his one moment to find her. He quickly made his way out towards the city, heading to his pawn shop; breath heavy as he slammed the door open only to find that his dearest Belle was nowhere to be found.
"Where could she possibly be?" He thought.
The roads of Storybrooke seemed desolate but he had no time to chit-chat or find anyone else. Rumple was racing against the clock, who knows when he'll be caught. He then took his way to the forest, rushing though the branches, letting the edges cut along his face. Nothing mattered but finding her. It was only for moment that he was beginning to lose hope till he heard a voice in the distance.
He heard his name being called...multiple times. Was it her? Without a second thought, he raced towards the direction of her voice as his voice escalated in tone. "BELLE!" He would shout, repeating. "Belle, where are you!?" He grew breathless as he thought all was lost as he took a moment to breathe until his eyes saw someone though the openings of the branches. He saw her, his eyes grew teary eyed as he made his way to her. Rumple placed his hand gently upon his shoulder as he spoke her name in a soft manner. "B-belle." Hesitant as he said her name, moving his hand to his chest as he clenched his jacket. "I-I have missed you so much, I ran away...so I could just see you, I need you...Belle."
