Alchemist pt. 2
Edmond spent much of his time indoors, brewing potions and preparing remedies. This took its toll on his already fragile health. Virdia spent many hours by his side as a child and, as she grew older, became his constant helper in the laboratory.
Alchemist pt. 1 The family house stood in a shabby, secluded side of the street, but its proximity to the public bathhouse allowed use of its benefits for a personal laboratory. The twins' father, Edmond, had been building it for ~20 years, making improvements.
