hi sorry s'cuse me but were NONE OF YOU GOING TO TELL ME ABOUT BLACK BOOKS OF HOURS???
LOOK AT THIS MAGNIFICENT GOTH-ASS SHIT
EGADDDDDDD
THE IRON-COPPER SOLUTION USED TO DYE THE PAGES WAS SO CORROSIVE THAT THERE ARE VERY FEW SURVIVING EXAMPLES
THESE BOOKS WERE LITERALLY TOO METAL TO LIVE
i can't
In the West Berlin by Night VtM chronicle I'm in, when my character asked the Sheriff for her and the Prince's permission to stay in the domain, she nonchalantly and (presumably) jokingly asked them to "just send them a letter about it".
So my awkward, deadpan Tzimisce neonate did just that.
The chronicle is set in a non-specific year in the early 80s, and my OC's (Ivo) haven is the Carl Schoening iron foundry, which was a real place (nowadays an art gallery). I did a lot of digging about the history of the place, and I decided to create an official letterhead for the company. They never had a logo I could use, so I found a stylised font that would look like a low quality print of the era, and used it for the template.
I actually dug up a scan of a West Berlin telephone book from 1983, and found their official address and phone number from that year in there:
After asking some German friends to proof-read the writing in the footer so that it mostly made sense, I printed it out, and used my grandma's old Łucznik 1303 typewriter to write the letter.
Then I signed it by hand, folded it 3 times like a letter, scanned it, did some minor corrections digitally and voila - got a cool thing for the chronicle <3
I might not be able to draw but I love doing silly things like this

New VTM oc! He/they cult buster gangrel! Using the Blood Raven loresheet for them so have a murder of crows with him all the time. He’s accidentally ghouled their horse named Bishop, they’re best friends and Rook barely knows how to socialize with anyone else better.

Vampire: The Masquerade, the game that revolutionized roleplaying, is now available in CD-ROM format. Includes all of the essential rulebook
I got this running out of the box with Wine on my Linux setup, and to my great surprise, despite all the compatiblity layers, the ingame document printer works without any issue with my Brother printer???
Oh the nefarious purposes I shall use this for

all the 48x48 transparent red clan/lack thereof logo edits I've done, in one post!
free to use! I made them for the vtm community to put on their artfight profiles but you can put them elsewhere if you wish. if you want these recoloured to something other than red, or if you'd like a different vtm symbol converted, let me know!
most bases (except salubri, banu haqim, thinblood, and caitiff, which I converted myself), were converted by @raindropsonwhiskers in this post! unlike those in that post though, these are all true size, so they're perfect for putting on an artfight profile.
edit: added banu haqim!
Nonbinary people are so cool I wish our rights were taken seriously haha
