I feel rich. With all the books I've read, with all the real people I've met. People are rich with the world they create for themselves. The door separates them from what is alien to them and from those with whom they don't get along in life. This is why I feel rich. I have enough money to pay my bills, buy a French baguette, white wine and books. I'm rich in my own thoughts, in the confidence of the sentences I utter and in the fact that I care less and less what others say about me. As Artur Sandauer once said, courage has lost its price. Nowadays, the same thing can be said about wealth.
