No empty screen at launch - Immoweb
Iâm a regular user of this IOS app. Last week they at least made a real update, no more glossy buttons! But even if the new app is âflatâ, the UX is still questioning. Here is the first screen once you launch the Immoweb App :
This screen is almost empty. Where are the new items based on my saved lists ? Where are my favorited items ? Really far in the menu on the top left.
The label âCommencer votre recherche iciâ looks like a input field, one of my first reflex was to click on it, not on the magnifying glass icon on the top right. Of course it doesnât work at all.
Button âTrierâ (filter) has absolutely no reason at this moment of action. I could only filter if I have results.
We go further in the App. For example we click on âcarteâ (map).
No pointer on the map, nothing. Just a little feedback in blue (?) to tell me that I should launch a search to get result on the map. Where ? How ? Work it up!

The button âcarteâ should only appear on the result pages not on every pages.
There should have a specific search engine into the map. For example : a âlocalize meâ button
If I click twice I can finally see the reason why Iâm here : check if there are new items on my lists. This screen has also its own problems :
The feedback message give me a wrong information : I should have 3 active lists but in fact there are only 2 : the third one is no more active. Apparently the new app doesnât currently support this list. Why ? We donât know. When will it be supported ? We donât know. Should I delete it and create a new one ? We donât know ? Does Immoweb propose a solution on this problem. No.
the â?â after âAppartâ is normally a special character in French :âĂ â. It means that the app has obviously problem with character encoding between the website and the app.
The word âInclureâ is use as an order. It literally means that the user can ask to include something by clicking on it. Itâs a âcall to actionâ. But in fact itâs not a button. Itâs not clear.
