This is why I need Lando to win.
Yes, obviously for the whole “lifelong dream, childhood ambition, becomes World Champion” thing (cute, love that for him) but also because I need him to shut these people up.
The hate is so unnecessary it feels like a group project where everyone showed up just to bully the kid who actually did the work.
When asked “Who should win the WDC?” these people look at their options and go:
Option 1: A man who collects transphobes, Zionists, media manipulators, and professional deflectors like they’re Pokémon. Never takes responsibility. Always wants drivers punished when they pull moves on him, that he has pulled on others.
Option 2: A man who has literally admitted to using his F1 car as a weapon, keeps racists and abusers in his personal orbit, and defended a sexual predator like it was a community service assignment.
Option 3: A man vocal about mental health, is an inspiration to junior drivers, supports the F1 Academy (when he can, confirmed by SW) like a golden retriever who wandered into the paddock, currently leading a championship in a car built to respond to his teammate's driving style, while dealing with half a season of mechanical/technical issues.
And somehow they pick Option 1 or Option 2 every time.
And the “reasons” they give?
“But Lando said women belong in the kitchen!!”
– That was a fake account. The internet got catfished by a hater with too much time on their hands.
“But Lando sexually harassed a fan!!”
– Proven false. Next.
“But Lando said Max is all luck, no talent!!”
– He was talking about the safety car timing. He clarified it. More than once. Max survived.
“But he was rude to Hamilton that one time in the cooldown room!!”
– Sir Lewis Hamilton himself said he didn’t care and wasn’t offended. Hamilton. The actual guy. The man in question. You being offended on his behalf is not going to magically retroactively offend him.
Anyway. Lando for WDC because the bar is on the floor and somehow people are still tripping over it😂
