Enlightened Tacos is an independent zine headquartered in Miami. We love to rant about art, music, feminism, politics, aliens and most importantly TRUTH! We value our tangible paper inception but we created an online blog to let our fans know about distribution and sneak peeks at some of our content. We constantly get inspired by those around us and will use this online space as a vehicle to reach far out ideas.

"Wazzz up" from your Editor-In-Chief

Full disclosure there are some things you should know about me. One, I experienced a full reset of my life. A brief instance when I figured it all out. I saw myself for who I was aside from the person that I thought was me for 22 years. It felt like I was ancient. So yes, eternal life is a real thing, at least for me. I think our human bodies are vessels. These vessels hold our souls which I believe are pieces of “source” (I won’t say the G word). The only hint of what source feels like is love.

I also belief we choose the life we want based on the lesson we want to learn. I look at life with a birds eye view but not just this life, everything. Try to step outside of what is happening to you in just this life. For example, lets just say you were this celestial immortal being who came to Earth to experience something physical. Would you want a perfect life over and over again? Don’t you want a life with pain just to experience it. Who said pain and suffering is a bad thing. Look at it neutrally as an emotional manifestation. Not only does good and bad not exist, everything leads to projections. It is why we are all connected. This is also the reason why everyone matters in your life, even the people you hate.  

Two, I am living this existence side by side with a person that serves as a reminder of the beyond. I never imagined such a thing existed. I was a “normal” person before this, I swear. I realize now I was living my life in this uninterrupted pattern, most of us are. I was completely intuned with this life, with who I was and then life itself showed me everything is not what it seems. I believe that this has projected me into a state of in-between. It constantly reminds me to see life for what it is.

Enlightened Tacos is a vehicle of self expression. A place where absurdity and reality can co-exist. You don’t have to agree with what we think, in fact most people don’t. But if something feels truthful/relatable follow that gut feeling, it’s the only honest guide, DA FEELZ. At E.T. we like to write/draw about art but also about aliens, horrible Miami traffic and lots of other random stuff. You can’t really put us in a category and that’s okay.

We distribute a paper zine in Miami, Florida. We created an online blog to help us spread the word about distribution, get inspiration from people all over the world and to give you a look into our content. We highly value our paper zine because unlike everything online it is something that you can hold, pass around in person and truly represents a local subculture. We hope that the zine stands as a true testament to this unique place and time. We hope to have a meaningful exchange with other zines out there. We would love to get to know you all.
