Hi all! I'm abby, aka @gentlebeardsbarngrill, I've decided to go ahead and move the OFMD Recaps to their own blog for the time being. I know some folks only follow me for recaps, and others for personal things, so I've decided to go ahead and separate the two so as to make it easier for people to access what they'd like.
This blog is focused on posting about Recaps for OFMD /fandom news. Recaps consist of anything from Actor news, fan-led charity drives, news from fan-led groups, ofmd fan spotlights, voting opportunities for OFMD, and peripheral works of the actors. It will also contain gifs, love notes, etc. In general it will stay generally SFW but may dip into NSFW. I will try to tag/note it in the TLDR notes if that is the case.

Hey lovelies! It's been a while! I realize this was not as thorough as I'd like it to be but I hope to get another one out soon if time allows. I don't know how helpful they are anymore, but I hope you enjoy.
I want you to know I've been thinking of you and rooting for you these past several months I've been off the radar without a computer screen. I miss this fandom so much, and even though I haven't been around, I've been sending so much love your way.
Please remember to be kind to yourself this time of year, this is the time for rest and recovery. Take care crew <3
Months of … Apple wouldnt fix it, and getting the replacement screen and sensors being torn… and then when I finally got everything together one of the pin holders snapping off so I had to makeshift one out of super glue.
So yes, finally have a personal computer again! This means ill try to get caught up on @ofmdrecaps but im so behind now idk if it’s in the cards! If nothing else Ill get the New Uni Con post up cause I promised that back in June.
Still no personal computer.. Apple screwed me over and now the parts I need have been delayed due to tariffs and other chaos bs. And because I work with HIPAA stuff in my work computer I cant use it for personal use.
Filling fell out… Im prepping my house for my friend to move in. Work is crazy because I work in the nonprofit sector and because everyone we work with has budget cuts due to the new administration, everyone wants things built for free and so we’re crazy busy.
I miss my moots and peeps here on tumblr. Thinking of so many of you all the time.

Hello lovelies. It's been a heck of a while. Every time I try to catch up, life decides to hamstring me again-- but you know what? That's normal. Life is chaotic, and we continue to see the world changing around us, not always for the best. I'm not around much right now, but I still see so many of you on IG or random notifications across the socials still doing such wonderful things.
Whether that's fighting for change, advocating for those who can't advocate for themselves, spreading joy and sharing in the struggles of our crewmates, or creating light through craft, word, or art even on the darkest days.
When life throws more at you, please remember lovelies that you are doing all you can, and you should be proud of that. There are those who will tell you you're not enough, that you should always do more-- but you know yourself best. You know your limits, even if the world has tricked you into thinking you don't.
You are light, and love, and kindness and even when it doesn't feel like it, you are doing your best.

So I was really trying to get the New Uni-Con Recap up before the rest but I keep finding more people I want to make sure are okay to share their pictures! So that's almost done-- just wanna double check some things before I finish it off.
In the meantime, I've got June 23-30 done, just needs some edits, I'm gonna get that up tomorrow hopefully because it's crawling around under my skin and I'll never be able to function without doing it.
Since I'm already a month behind on July I may go ahead and just do a big July Edition edition on the Repo like ofmd-crew used to do weekly, cause it just takes too much work right now to seperate by 2-3 days at a time and I'm so very behind. I'll see.. maybe i'll just do week long versions. We'll see.
Anyway.. as usual, life has gone off on it's own way and I've had to follow unfortunately, supporting family, friends, and trying to keep myself afloat. It's becoming more and more apparent that the time and energy I had before is just not the same.. we'll see what that means for the recaps. I feel like I'm not really helping much by being so late anyway as it is, so I'm gonna do some more thinking on it.
