It hurts when you ask people to beta read your book and they express interest and yet they never read it… I don’t want to be pushy and keep pestering them to read it so I don’t ever ask again but how am I supposed to ever publish this series if no one will help me and read it? I’m so excited and in love with these characters too and see so much potential. Idk it just sucks 😔

Summary:

Leon S. Kennedy is an agent working for the DSO. His job is simple: track down and eliminate his targets with efficiency. He does his job without asking questions, finding it easy enough to take down the once-human bio-weapons he's sent to kill.

Reese James is a cybercrime investigator working for the FBI. She's always been a stickler for the rules, that is, until she starts to notice something fishy about the current missing persons case she's been assigned. What she finds when digging into the files is enough to land her on Leon's list, designated as a top bio-weapon threat to the nation.

While following his orders, Leon finds himself beginning to question the agency he's sworn his allegiance to and decides to get to know Reese first before pulling the trigger. Intrigued by her and starting to develop complicated feelings, he struggles to carry out the orders to end her life. He decides to trust the spotter in his ear that he's been working with for years, and what he learns means bad news for humanity. It turns out he hasn't been eliminating bio-weapons; he's been creating them for Umbrella, who has been working side-by-side with the DSO all along.

Now it's up to Leon to set things right.

I’m still kicking.

I might try to go through some of my inbox cause I’ve hit a writing block and need something to get back into the swing of things and get the creative juice flowing once more.

No promises though.

Dark art is like drugs.

1: Most people see them as bad things, so people involved with them are bad.

2: Some of them are socially acceptable. Alcohol or cigarettes are socially acceptable, as are Jinx and Hex.

3: When "nice people" are involved with them, it is okay. It's ok for high-class people to drink expensive wine, but it's not ok for working-class people to drink cheap alcohol. It's ok for the marauders to throw hex around, but it's not ok for Snape to invent some curse.

4: They can be useful. We use some drugs as medicine.

5: People who study them don't need to want to use them.

6: They are alluring for people who feel abandoned, want to control things, etc.

Hey guys idk how many of you actually check my blog often but I figured I’d leave a little message with a life update. If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, hello 👋 I am still alive lol. However I just wanted to pop in and say that I’m not really writing fanfics anymore. I am still writing but currently I’m working on several massive projects of my own that are taking up all my time and creativity. I’ll still be active here and there, but for a while I will not be writing any fics or answering any requests in my inbox. I might just post everything in there for ideas for other people because if I’m being honest I just have no motivation to write anything sitting in there right now.

Anyway… Thank you for all the support and for giving me the push that I needed to write my own stories. Here’s to the hope I actually see them through and perhaps publish them one day 😊

The ballad of songbirds and snaked

In the serie "The play of songbirds and snakes" I have the wip of the wedding ("Until the end of the night" etc) and after that I have three more short stories to write in this universe.

"Blooming in the snow" (don't know if I will use this title) is the angsty Snowbaird, I wrote only one chapter and I am still plotting (also I am exploring more characters and I love it)

It's only in my mind and has no title or a serious plot yet, but it's the Coriolanus/Lucy Gray/Sejanus one u.ù

... And that's it I suppose. I have more plot in my mind (expecially HP ones) but I don't think I will write anything else in the near future... I am all for Snowbaird now.

writers when they’re proofreading their works for the 34th time *find zero mistakes, there’s no typo, no grammatical error. everything looks good. hit the post button*

writers when they’re reading said works after they’ve been published like proud parents *find 52 mistakes at first glance, 38 typos and 14 grammatical errors with a bunch of inconsistencies and plot holes*

I believe Snape allowed himself to die because living meant alerting Voledmort to the fact that someone else held control of the Elder Wand, therefore risking Draco's life. Because if Voldemort ended up killing Draco then Snape would've died from the Unbreaking Vow anyway, so I assume he preferred death by snake bite/partial tracheostomy than letting a boy whom he magically swore to protect die with him as a result of his initial survival. You seem to grasp his character well. What's your opinion on this?

I believe this could have played a part in it but I think he was just utterly depressed and hopeless and saw a way out so he took it instead of trying to fight it. I don’t think he saw a future for himself — he was a death eater and though they could of course view his memories and make him tell the truth via truth serum we know from Sirius blacks situation they don’t do that. Maybe that’s just terrible world building because they have every means necessary to actually get the truth out of people or maybe it’s just laziness on part of the ministry. Either way Severus saw that there would always be people who would view him negatively and then of course he’d also have the obsessed fans. I just think he’s someone who doesn’t like to draw attention to himself. He’d rather die a painful death than have to face the aftermath of the war and all of the things he did. Being known as Voldemorts right hand man, whether people accepted the truth that he was a spy for Dumbledore or not, would have brought unfathomable amounts of attention his way. Living in the spotlight was never for Severus, he always preferred the cool and dark dungeons that echoed his empty and deprived soul.
