Haven't been here in ages but im gonna write cos i feel like it. I'm sitting in a cute cafe in this super lovely city, i had my entrance exam to uni. Not actually trying to get in, just to see how to prepare for next year. Im pretty happy, i graduated with grades better than expected aahhhh, i got my first job, not a full time one but a job none the less, and i like it. I havent fully grasped the fact that im done with school. Im not panicking about future for some reason. Hopefully next year i'll be studying nordic languages, or something else if i happen to change my mind during this year. Feeling good man

They took away the win from Moonlight tho by now making it about how the Blah Bland folk reacted and doing a whole investigation about how the mix up even happened. Mahershala said he couldn’t feel joy in knowing that he was somehow taking something away from someone else. How fucked up is that? They rightfully won but end up feeling like they were given something they didn’t deserve. It’s bullshit.

i would rather die now than write another mediocre job application which i know won’t get me a job
ive had a week’s holiday during which i should’ve studied heaps for finals, applied for jobs and done all my unfinished school shit in order to get out of high school. and all ive done is slepe. i’ve spent ten days doing nothing.

“I think about love on a scale from 1 to 10. Most of us find a 6 or 7, and that’s why we have divorce. It’s the truth. We settle for that 6 or 7. But I like to think Kevin is Chiron’s 10. He’s found that and he realizes that there’s no reason to settle for a 6 or a 7 because, “I know this person is my 10. Whether or not this person believes I’m his 10, I’m going to devote my life to this person entirely.” That’s why the line where he says, “You’re the only man that’s ever touched me,” for me, was the most amazing, most beautiful thing I’ve seen in cinema, period. Because that’s what we strive for as people, to find that one person because they’re there. If Kevin doesn’t feel that they should be together, Chiron is just going to die a miserable person because that’s his person and he won’t settle for anything else. But I like to think they’re together, walking in Central Park hand-in-hand when they’re 90 years old.”
Moonlight (2016) dir. Barry Jenkins
No offense but I’ve literally never forgiven anyone or gotten over anything in my life
