She pushed up the sleeve on his other arm and looked at the tattoos that spiraled around his arm."These are so cool looking!"
Grimacing, his fingers bent into claws, blatantly showing his high level of discomfort. "H-how so?!"
yaaay! *hugs you* how was camp? and when did ya get back?
"Oof- heh, just this week~ And it was fun! I really enjoyed being a counselor. Was I missed~?"
Tain! *the tiny fairy flew toward his cottage, this time a swammie swan was after her. She zoomed through the open window, hiding behind something*
With no time to think and the bird flying in fast, Tain had to rush up and slam the window closed, bracing as if for impact as the swan swooped in close, tuning with an agitated squawk at the last second. "You don't even eat bugs! Stupid bird..."
back from camp yet?
"Yup!"
He chuckled lightly. “Mhmm~ sun should be up in about a half hour. We’ll be to the top of the hill by then, ad on the way down you can see id there’s any flowers you missed.”
"Ok then!!!" She stopped and stretched out for a minute before catching up to Tain.
"So Tain, you live out here by yourself? I haven’t seen anyone else around…."
"Eh? Oh, well, yeah...It's just me. I don't know of anyone else that might be around, but, I do get visitors from the city! I've got friends~ Besides, it's nice to have a quiet little place to myself." He said with a smile, though it turned into more of a smirk with his next words. "The animals can sure get annoying sometimes though."
"Ah! No, I couldn't take your bed from you. That would he awful. I'll take the couch." She smiles hoping that was better.
"Whatever you prefer. I just want to be sure you're comfortable." Standing, he picked up his mug and took a few steps back. "I'll get you some pillows and a blanket, okay?"
"Of course I don't mind," she said with a smile, walking side-by-side with Tain, yet giving him enough space so that she (hopefully) didn't pop his little personal bubble. The birds were singing; a light breeze was blowing; white, puffy clouds drifted by in the sky; and yet.. Tain didn't seem in quite as cheerful a mood as his surroundings. Branching out for a topic in an attempt to lighten the mood, Pluto stared at the tattoos on his neck and said, "Those really bring out your eyes."
Glancing over at her he quickly averted his eyes, hunching his shoulders as he tried to bury his neck in his collar. "How so?" He asked, looking self-conscious and uncertain.
"The floor is fine." She blushes and shrugs. "As long as I have a pillow and blanket, I'll be happy." Smiling she looks to Tain.
His expression was incredulous. "The floor? Noo, no no. Would you like my bed? I can sleep on the couch."

Blinking, he stares down at the letter, looking surprise for a few moments before a wide grin brightens his face and his cheeks glow pink. "Oh..."
"This is so cool Tain!!!*
"..." His expression was baffled and taken aback as he blinked down at her. "...what?"
"That's the Tain I know," Pluto said, a most satisfactory grin playing upon her lips as she quietly shut the door behind them and walked out into the valley, her tall, lanky friend by her side. "Soooo.. how shall we get there? Walking or riding?" she asked, gesturing to the wagon parked by the tent at the word "riding".
"We can walk." He murmured, eyes straight ahead as he spoke. "If you don't mind?"
Laughing quietly she shrugs. "I'm g-going to thank you anyway. N-not everyone w-would let some weird r-red haired girl into their h-house during th-the night." Setting her mug down she sighs. "It's n-nice to me out of the c-cold."
"Well it's no worry in any case. I can show you the way to town in the morning. For now though..." Tain tapped his chin, looking around thoughtfully. "I wonder where you could sleep..?"
Jessie and James could probably walk right up to Ash in full uniform with a sign that says “not team rocket” and he’d still be all “omg who are these people”
