[The man skidded to a halt as a man approached him. He had scouted through sciences, yet no one had claimed the thing, so off the Medbay it was, yet running into a red shirt was not what he had honestly expecting down here.]

Ah yes of course! [He pulled the notebook from the position it had been tucked beneath his arm and handed it to the man.] All of that is very complex, if you can read it I will be amazed.

Thank you! [ Lee opened to the front page his face breaking out in a smile.]

I know this writing anywhere! [ He flipped to a random page with illustrations on it.] Ah she even redrew everything, this is fantastic. Thank you for getting this to me. It means a lot. Oh and I dont believe we've traded names, Im Lieutenant Lee Anderly. [ Lee held out his hand to shake Asims, still smiling happily.]

Asim frowned as he lifted the package up and down. It was the wrong shape, and much too light for what he was looking for. The man groaned, this obviously wasn’t his package, which meant someone else had his. Which was disappointing, as he was running low on his supply and tea and coffee did just not taste the same without it.

As much as he hated opening other people’s mail, it seemed the only way to know who this belonged to. As carefully as he could, he tore away the wrappings until all he had left was a notebook. He flipped through the pages, frowning at what seemed like…computer code or something? He didn’t know, but staring at the numbers and symbols for too long was giving him a headache. 

So as he started his shift, he tucked the book under his arm and wandered around the science labs, hoping someone new who it belonged to. The cover was a blue matching that of sciences, so he assumed it was from someone in the department, he was going to head to the Medbay next after this. “Anyone lose this?”

 [ Lee had just finished his conversation with Doctor Mccoy and was on his way to the mess to see if anyone had found his notebook. He was thinking about their conversation and what to do when he heard Asim's voice.] Um hello.. excuse me may I take a look at that?

Leonard had been having a spell of bad luck it had seemed. What with the fight between Jocelyn, accusing a colleague of sleeping with said ex-wife, and thinking about that little shit every time he picked up a glass, Bones was well due a break. 

The newest shipment of supplies had come in, so he and a few staff members, ones that could tolerate his constant insults when things were placed in the wrong spot, and filled the storage rooms back to near capacity. A sight that made him very happy. But he had also been expecting a personal package, and once he had heard the announcement, the package had been tucked away from sight. Leonard had nearly thrown it against the nearest wall, be had luckily decided against that decision. Whoever those letters were from would be missing them some time. And when he felt like doing some snooping, he’d go fine the person.

His gaze flickered up from his PADD at the noise of someone standing in his office doorway. “Ah look at you.” He couldn’t help but smirk, eyes flickering back down again. “All standin’ an’ shit. What do ya need?”

"Thanks to your band aids im much better now thank you Doctor." Lee had hesitated slightly at the doorway not wanting to disturb his grumpy looking friend, but continued in after he was acknowledged. "I was hoping to leave this package here, its a uh rather personal item and I felt it would be better if you asked people about it instead of me." He placed the package gently on an open space before he pulled up a chair to sit opposite of Mccoy. "I was also hoping for some advice as well if you're not feeling too dour."

Lee ripped into the box with excitement. He had been waiting a while for this book. One of his friends from the old science team had dug up an old project they had done together and transposed all of the coding information into a notebook for him to look at.( They could have done it all electronically  but he liked being able to look at it that way. Especially with the added notes from his colleague.) It was all of the energy proficiency coding they had done on an old freighter that had saved them enough energy to avoid a refit for a few more years. It was one of the better successes they'd had and he wanted to get back to his old passion. Starting over from step 1 was better than not continuing at all. He removed the sealant on the last box,This seems a bit overdramatic for a notebook, and reached in.

"What in the world?" What he pulled out was most certainly not his book. The cloth was soft and in the shape of a short tank top with a zipper in the front. He stared at it for a moment then double checked the box. No notebook. Still frowning in thought over the binder, he packed it carefully back into its boxes closing them up as much as he could with the packaging in disarray. It seemed like a personal item so, He didn't think going around asking whose it was would be polite. Hmmm Medbay...? Well its the only sane seeming idea. Doctor Mccoy can ask whose it is or might just know and people wont feel embarrassed or awkward. Lee nodded to himself, picked up the box and made his way to Medbay.

*stares blankly at tricorder and med book for a moment and then starts laughing*

[Everything felt completely wrong and he knew it by the way everyone was reacting. Open hostility of the like he had never experienced was being aimed at him.]

In a way, I guess, if you wanna call it that. [A roll of his eyes. Leave it to the guy who nearly had his guts leaking out of him to doubt him on his medical prowess. Leonard was sure Lee couldn’t tell his tibia from his Hamate if he tried. Pathetic.]

I do think I know what would be wise or not, thanks. And it’s not like m’doctor Frankenstein, believe it or not, m’not actually tryin’ to hurt you.

I know you're not trying to hurt me, I trust you Doctor, really I do! There have just been too many things going wrong for me lately to be completely sure an apple wont kill me. [ Lee sighed. He really did want to get out of here faster and he had done much, much scarier things. At least this time there was a medical practitioner right there.]

But yes i'll give it a go. Besides if anything goes wrong, you wont let it.

I believe I was the one who requested I get to go to my room because of a certain doctors overzealous healing methods and constant grumbling.

[ Despite his best efforts not to Lee smiled slightly at the bickering they'd fallen into lately. It was refreshing and a wonderful break from his own mind.] I'm not going to ask people to come in just to keep me company. Im sure they would, but i'm not a very interesting conversation partner when the medication kicks in. The rest of the time they're working.

You must have an actor in you doctor, your theatrics are top notch. [ Lee sighed and scowled a little but allowed the doctor to do his check-up.]

Besides the computers are bolted down. The most I could do is get eyestrain.[ He was off the really heavy medications, which was a good thing, but it meant he was self aware more often than he would prefer and it was quite boring.]
