Andrea Android - Moodboard

After having dropped her things off in her room, Ava stepped out of her room, taking in a deep breath and looking from side to side before walking into the corridor. The journey was to begin soon, and the woman was quite excited. But, in her excitement, she bumped into another, nearly knowing herself to the ground.

"Oh, sorry! I didn’t see you there!"

Andrea had powered on for the first time since her near decommissioning only to find herself back on the deck of the ship where she was created. Far be it from her to question such good fortune, and she responded to the situation by simply setting into motion all protocols she deemed necessary. A happy mechanical hum buzzed at her lips, a sort of equivalent to a cheery whistle, and she was quite busy pushing information out to the crew as the collision occurred. 

"My apologies! I should be aware of my surroundings!"

☆ Chipper, Dedicated, Curious

★ Confused, Forgetful, Unaware

 A simplistic android Andrea was described by her creator as nothing more than a “mechanical geisha.” Her behavior patterns began as repetitive and basic. She often mimics those she is around unintentionally, their behaviors influencing her so called mood and her actions. Very recently Andrea has begun to develop emotions, or at least imitations thereof, a feature for which she was not intended. This has caused serious processing errors and she has struggled to function. Repeated errors have wiped her records, or memories, and it has slowed developmental process that she might be making. 

Andrea is self aware but only in the most basic sense. Many question her place aboard the Enterprise as she is clumsy and tactless, often bumbling through tasks. But her continued emotional development ensures that a select few insist that they keep her so that she has a safe place to grow and possibly develop. Why or how she is capable of doing so remains a mystery, and perhaps that is part of what makes her valuable. 

Andrea is friendly towards everyone aboard the Enterprise and she cannot hold a grudge. She is aware of all of the crew members and at this point has not formed any specific relations although she is beginning to develop feelings that may allow her to in the future. Some crew members may have little patience for her, or only view her as holding scientific value, but of this she is unaware.

★ Tactless, Unaware, Clumsy

Background:
