Ever roaming eyes picked up on the scowl of his father, noting that whatever damage had been sustained could have been worse or at the very least would be a pain to repair. He hated those looks because he knew Enzo worried about him, which Matias appreciated even though he wasn’t as fragile as he’d once been. “Power.” He echos Enzo, scrunching his face slightly as he didn’t understand how wealth translated into power; as Matias believed the power behind people. Fists, speed and strength. Of course his biotic physiology helped in that regard.
“We could always just wipe them out and then they’d have no power.” Matias chuckles as it was a ill advised method, but a hilarious method nonetheless; of course he was joking though. The international repercussions of a move like that would cause far too much heat around his family. Once the ultrasound was done, and the sensors left him, Matias felt a small smile come to his face. “How bad is it?” He asks his father.
“I’m down to spar a little bit.” Matias mused as he definitely enjoyed getting physical with Enzo, whether it be sex, sparring or dancing; he was never one to back down from the other. The thought brings Matias back to when he was just a young boy, barely six and he’d finally gotten strong enough to walk once more; Enzo danced with him and that was the beginning of Matias career as both his Padre’s right hand man and a dancer.
A small smirk teased his lips as his son’s words, the imagery of what he proposed all too enticing. Oh, how he disliked the Aldairs and their holier-than-thou attitude. Just because they were responsible for not only so many medical advancements but the agriculture in Spellbrooke, it didn’t make them better than anyone or that they were able to achieve anything they put their mind to. After all, where were they when Matias fell ill? They were stumped, unable to figure out how to save his poor boy, and it was Enzo that figured out how to save them.
And ever since then, he had little regard for the Aldairs, and he would prefer to see them all have their last breath, but he knew that the ramifications of such an action would be disastrous. And Rafael certainly wouldn’t have that.
“Not as bad as I anticipated, but bad enough that the maintenance will take a few minutes,” he stated as he let his fingers clack against the keyboard, typing in a few commands before a robot, one with many medical tools and equipment, began to maneuver towards Matias. “Keep your arm steady, figlio.” Turning towards where his son sat, he let his hand hover over the spot wherein his injury was located, and as he began uttering a small spell, the robot began to open up the younger male’s skin and circuits to begin working on the fried equipment that was hidden inside.
After several minutes, the robot began to close up Matias’ arm, now completely upgraded, and Enzo rose to his feet. “Now, we’ll need to test your capabilities.” With that, the older male uttered a small phrase and his wristband began to expand to became a full mechanical suit of armor, strengthening the capabilities he had with his own body. “Let’s test your strength. Stand up and hold your arms out, figlio.”
