Egypt Museum
I have a question. And my question is simple. For whom is this place? So far, I can say for historical scientist and even for them it is hard to enjoy the Exhibition.
I came here with a basic knowledge of ancient Egypt history from the school classes and I think most of the tourists are like me. The one reason why we all go to the museums is a desire for a piece of new knowledge. However, you will leave this place with only 10% of information about the exhibitions inside this important place for ancient Egyptian history nowadays. When you enter main gate you will hardly understand where the exhibition starts. Some of the halls don't have sing or information what there is in the room, where they found this exhibit, what the story in front of us is. Most pieces don't have any information, some have just Arabic descriptions, some also have French, and some of them also have English or just English. Here you can see when the pieces were brought in the museum because they all have singe from different periods and they display case was never cleaned after they were installed, abandoned to their fate. Somebody can say, what is the problem, next year all exhibits will move to a new museum, but guys, for more than one hundred years nobody thinks about a people who made a big journey to come here.
