Literary Movements
Literary movements are distinguished by shared traits, styles, subjects, or genres in various literary works. Scholars of Japanese literature tend to sort authors and their works into neat categories called “literary schools.” This is similar to the Western literary movements (romanticism, realism, transcendentalism, modernism, etc.), but Japanese literature has it’s own movements as well. Some authors works could fit into multiple categories, but generally there is one literary school they are most associated with. Here is a list of a few of the Japanese literary movements and the Bungou Stray Dogs authors who belong to them:
Romanticism: emphasizes the emotional side of human feelings; Romantic literature in Japan had a direct influence from European literature and emphasized the importance of the individual and of freedom

some all time favs from a directory of directories that i thought was lost forever! very exciting. first image is an absolutely amazing poem by my old typography professor, to preface a letter of recommendation. he even printed the original on vellum, it was such a nice thing. last image is an ambigram of “nik” (reads the same upside down as right side up)
centermost image is actually a photo of me taken by a smokin hot nerd. fourth row images are from “relations, ships & wrecks”, my bachelor of fine arts thesis that centered around making a visual system to map people’s sexual experiences over time.

and a book for organizing flake sticker sets by king jim (“king jim seal collection for flake stickers”) my favorite of the three king jim books: flake stickers storage, sheet sticker storage and washi tape album
will be getting another flake storage book eventually, but got an a5 binder and a couple of packs of sheet protectors to hold sheet stickers because that’s basically what the king jim sheet sticker storage is, except my binder version is way cheaper and holds way more sheets. can also try different pocket arrangements, maybe a5 business card pocket sheets or a5 photo pocket sheets for the binder. also clear zip pockets (for a5 and a6 binders) are available for cheap on amazon
