i just saw someone use that argument but not because their faves weren’t picked, they’re just playing devil’s advocate and basically said “there’s nothing you can do about it” llolololololololol

i saw some discussions over this today because i am dumb and i forget i shouldn't read comments, but the overall notion (from men) is always that "they'll pick who they'll pick, whether it's a man or a woman, perhaps women simply weren't as good as the men were this year, stop making everything a gender issue lol" stop crying when i kick your balls lol
