This is Sine, a character based off of a sign.
This is what I’ve come to.
This is the triptych I made for my computer art class. It’s a self portrait, focusing on what things make my anxiety and depression easier.
From left to right:
Technology - video games and technology have always made my life easier and happier. I used pictures of a computer tower I took apart, and used Dovahzul to write out things I’ve been struggling with for a while: depression, anxiety, and kidney stones.
Family - my family -- mom and fiance, in particular -- have always been there for me. They help to distract me from my mental illnesses and make me feel better. I used pictures of a childhood chair I had, as well as the dress I wore to graduation.
Art - my art has always helped me to relax and think of better things when I’m depressed. The photos I used are scans of a few of my drawings, and the background is made with a brush I created from a drawing.
All of the panels are connected by strings/wires.
I hope you all enjoy!

These are two logos I made for my fiance for his two websites, one of which isn’t up yet. These are simple and were done in MS Paint, but I plan to make them more detailed and a bit better in PS or Sai someday.
My final animation for my computer art class. It's hand drawn and based on the story "The Straw, the Coal, and the Bean," which can be found here: https://en...
This was my final animation of the semester. It was all hand-drawn elements put together in After Effects. The song is not mine, it’s "Nuvole Bianche" by Ludovico Einaudi.
The prompt for this animation was: “an animation, representational or not, based on a fairy tale, story, or folklore from over 100 years ago.” This is based on “The Straw, the Coal, and the Bean.”
An After Effects project for my Computer Art class. Music is not mine, but all of the animation is. Hope you enjoy! by Elizabeth Leger
This was my first major animation this semester, with the prompt: “an abstract animation using nonrepresentational shapes.”
I had fun with this one, but it was still a lot of work. I’m not one for animation.
This is Aisha, a character I’ve been developing for a while. I really like the way this has turned out -- a great start to my birthday :)
I’m also very sorry for the lack of content the last few months. It’s been extremely hard to draw these days what with school. I’m about to flood your dashes, though. ;)
And these are the landscapes! Or, non-human, non-moving sketches and studies.
The first one is my personal favorite. I was studying the clouds and how I’m comfortable drawing them, as well as what looked good aesthetically.
The second one is a statue in a garden. I had trouble with the eyes, as you can see, but I’m happy with the rest. Also, I added the wing.
The last three are landscapes, some including buildings, from mostly rural areas around where I live. These were fun to do, and I challenged myself to draw all of them in ~5-10 minutes. I tried not to go over that amount of time. That’s why most of them are extremely rough (and some were a little too rough to upload). It was really fun, though, and extremely rewarding to do. I hope to practice buildings more in the future, as well.
I apologize once again for being inactive. This time, it wasn’t because I wasn’t drawing, but rather, because I was drawing. A lot. Almost every day.
I finally admitted to myself that I needed help getting motivated (among other things). These last few weeks have been a huge turnaround for me, so thanks to everyone for staying. I really appreciate it.
The first picture is Cindy, an OC I’m currently developing.
The bottom two are some guys that I drew in the park. One was dancing, the other skateboarding. It was really fun and challenging to catch someone in the moment like that! And I plan to continue doing sketches like this. It’s super helpful.
After this, I’m going to upload a few landscape studies I’ve been doing. They’re extremely rough, mind you, so they don’t look too great yet. I hope to either fix them up a bit, or even revisit the locations to try drawing them again!
Almost finished with this dragon! It’s taking a little longer than I expected. The coloring is still a bit sloppy, so I’ll be working on fixing that, as well as finishing the rest of the coloring. (I’ve not practiced with copics in so long...)
I hope you all like it as much as I do!
Sorry for the delay! I finished the line art for this dragon that I started the other day. I haven’t decided yet if I’ll color it digitally or with copics, but I’ll probably finish it within the week. I have ideas for other drawings in the meantime, so I might sketch some out. :)
I sincerely apologize for my lack of content the last few days - I was going through a bit of a tough time. Thank you for being patient, though!
I don’t have much to show from that time, but I did start working on this dragon. I don’t have much practice drawing them, so the line art and coloring will be a huge learning experience. If I like its design enough, I might make drawing it a habit.
Hopefully, within the next few days, I’ll have it finished!
Hello, all!
I realized I never formally introduced myself. I’m Elizabeth, but you can call me Elli, and I’m 19 years old. I’m a university student here in Louisiana, and I’m studying graphic design! I love to draw and paint...but I’m not too keen on sculpting.
I have a wonderful boyfriend that continues to support me with my art. He’s actually the reason I started this blog, and the reason I started drawing for fun again!
I tend to draw my original characters or people I know; however, I’m open to drawing fanart or other people’s characters, or things like landscapes, animals, buildings, etc. Feel free to request things, and we can talk about it! If I ever draw one of my OCs or someone I know, I’ll likely explain who it is in the description.
I hope all of you enjoy your stay here at my blog. I love to interact with people I follow/people who follow me, so never be afraid to send an ask!
(This is Dianthus, a character I made a while back. I was trying a few different styles back then.)
The product of the stream! Thanks to everyone who came - it means a lot!
A self portrait, minus my glasses. I decided that it looked much better without them added in. I hope you all like it!
Another work in progress. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it tomorrow. It’s a self-portrait! :D
I realize I also forgot my glasses in the drawing, so I’ll try to add that in tomorrow as well.
Thanks to everyone who came to the stream!
This is one of the first digital art pictures I’ve done in a while, and I like the way it turned out! Hopefully I’ll get used to doing more complex coloring in the future!
I present to you, my boyfriend as a zombie!
WIP of my boyfriend as a zombie... I’m excited with how this is turning out!
