A very, long while... To start this short post, I would have to say Iâm really sorry for the long hiatus. To shortly summarize what happened these past two years, I got a job in Japan and (figuratively and literally) worked myself to death there. After finishing up the long project, I quit the company and moved back home. And so Iâm currently busy applying and finding a new job again. Â
While I did promise that I would finish up the translations for Joker Game, itâs been quite a while since the last time I posted. If anything I do hope that someone picked up the translations in my stead. Iâm afraid that with my current status in both finding a job and my health, I wonât be able to continue any translations. I apologize if I disappointed anyone who was patiently waiting for these translations and I sincerely thank those who gave me support when I posted those chapters. It truly made me feel happy to be in this fandom.Â
Well then, I have no clue if Iâm ever going to actively use this website, but until next time I hope each and every one of you guys a good day. Thank you. (*^_^*)
Iâm really really sorry for missing like 3-4? chapters of this. I was going to start on the translations but because of some mishaps I suddenly had to move out of my relativeâs house and find myself an apartment right after I started my job.
And... Â I was without the internet for nearly 2 months (Iâm not joking). Pair that up with work, which I was unfortunate enough to join in during their busy phase, I would come home every weekday at 10PM-12AM. So even if I could bring my laptop to the nearest Starbucks or something during the weekend I am often just too exhausted to do so.Â
I currently am renting a portable wifi at the moment, but unfortunately, I will have to return it soon until the internet guys finally come to my apartment to set up my router and all.

This was a huge pain to translate and decode. Iâm not a poet nor am I 100% sure everything is correct, but I did the best I could. The poem was written by Tachibana no Moroe and comes from the Manyoshu, the oldest known collection of Japanese poetry. There seem to be several interpretations of this poem, but it basically means âJust as the hydrangeas continue on to bloom in great multifold layers, I also hope that you also stay well. Each time I look at these flowers I will think fondly of you.â Â Â

Utsumi: âŠ.The German army used Enigma to encode the contents of stolen orders and telegraphed it to allied forces. The British then intercepted the transmission and through comparisons with the encoded Enigma message they gained a clue in decrypting the code. However, since he acted out of his own discretion, McCloudâs strategy was met with antipathy instead and so he was driven off from the British Secret Intelligence Agency. After altering his face, he probably set his eyes on Japan to find a new place for himself.

On December 12, 1944, locked inside Auschwitz, Polish teenager Fania turned twenty. After spending a year in a concentration camp, Fania didnât expect her birthday to even be remembered - but her best friend, Zlatka, risked everything to make her a birthday present, a paper heart.Â
Simply making the heart - or carrying it - could get either of them killed.
The heart was signed by many of their friends, bearing notes in Polish, German, French, and Hebrew that announced "When you get old, put your glasses on your nose, take this album in your hand and read my signature again,â and âFreedom! Freedom! Freedom!â It was an act of great sacrifice and love for a friend.
Less than 40 days later, they began the Death March from Auschwitz to Ravensbruck, and from Ravensbruck to freedom. Fania carried the heart under her arm the whole time. And survived.
Fania donated the heart to the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Center in 1988, where it is a featured piece of their exhibit. You can read more about the story of Fania and Zlatka Meg Wiviottâs Paper Hearts, coming September 2015.
