So like presumably after getting the probes Stratt would just assume Grace died in space due to running out of food. Do you think a few years later while rebuilding the earth they got another clearly alien probe w a video message in it like 'hey guys just FYI we made it but I decided I'm moving to Erid. Look at this beautiful dome they made me! :D'

Wasn't it canon that Stratt got tossed in jail for some of the stuff she did? It would be great if it had all come out in the trial that she had forced Grace onto the mission against his will and that was ruled a murder.

and then Erid sends their little update, and Stratt's lawyers get to go "well. *steeples fingers* can we reduce the sentence for that charge because that was technically just an ATTEMPTED murder--"
