it's for a vast amount of reasons tbh. i've always been fond of the ai/handler relationships in rvb and how they're handled and i especially really like the. tragedy? whatever? of epsilon and wash and how They turned out. in general church and wash's dynamic was just interesting too; between (alpha)church trusting wash (and not trusting him, at the same time) to literally. y'know. give his life away and also just being assholes to each other from day one.

but literally like 80% of the thoughts i have about them are inferences from canon or headcanons or au-adjacent.
