Being extremely sensitive to everything and being able to understand people, including myself, in depth and complexity has made connecting with others at all unbearable. A lifetime of isolation and derealization, living a completely insular life is fundamental to this, too.

Regardless of circumstance, the energetic, spiritual web of living in civilization overwhelms me, and I’m unable to connect with anyone, and no one is able to connect with me. My whole life is being shut off from outside influence to protect myself; and yet, as isolated as my life is, I think about and understand people far more, and all emotions I feel of and from people settles into me permanently.
