okay, you know what? Running away shouldn’t be a crime. It shouldn’t be dangerous, either. Any kid should be able to leave their parents if they want, for any reason. No I’m not kidding.
“But Rue, where will these kids stay? Do you want them on the streets?”
of course not. In an ideal world, a kids would have multiple adults other than their parents they could look to for care, but I recognize that that will never be a reality for every single child. So: youth shelters, if they have nowhere else to go. There should be clean, warm shelters where anyone under 18 can stay for as long as they need, no questions asked. (And of course shelters that aren’t just for kids, but we’re talking about youth rights right now)
“But Rue,” I hear you say, “what if some moody teenager runs away after an argument?”
First of all, I’d rather a thousand moody teenagers run away than one abused child be trapped. Second, so what if one does? A kid needs time away from their parents, so they leave. The vast majority of them will get some time to cool down and then go back home, and if they don’t want to go back, period? Then nine times out of ten, they have a good reason. (Because yes, as hard as it is for you to believe, kids are humans who have common sense.)
“Okay, but what about the one time out of ten the kid doesn’t have a good reason?”
Then the kid doesn’t have a good reason. It doesn’t change anything. If someone wants to break up with their partner because of something stupid, you wouldn’t say they legally shouldn’t be able to. (And if you would, then you’re just a bad person.) No one should have to be in a relationship, romantic or otherwise, that they don’t want to be in.
the rise of DNIs has completely shattered the common social media users ability to defend themselves online. DNIs do not work. bad people will not follow your DNI, and in fact will actively report and harass you if you do not block them. they will block evade sometimes, block those accounts too.
protect your privacy. do not post your natAge, especially if you are a legal minor, do not post your location even if it's general like the state or even country you live in, do not post your face, etc. tiktok and instagram have normalized posting your entire face and body online but it's not good. it's not normal. don't do that, that's dangerous
blocking people is normal and it's a part of every social media website. it's good to block people who are harassing you or even if you just don't like them. you can block anons in your inbox! i recommend going into hate tags and blocking everyone you see
also, responding to hate comments or asks or DMs only furthers their drive to harass you and put you in danger. you have to IGNORE them. they hate it. but they'll get bored and go away eventually. report them if they're breaking TOS by calling you slurs or posting gore or porn or something. please learn Internet safety, i know a lot of beings in this community are legally minors and haven't been taught for one reason or another
edit: lie about your natIDs! say you are your transIDs ! don't tell people your race, your age, your diagnoses, anything unless you Really trust them or you're certain it won't put you in any danger of being recognized or triggered or doxxed
While there is seemingly a lot of debate surrounding the label itself and its exact meaning and TONS of micro lables under the radqueer umbrella to voice what you do and don't support ( im dollqueer :) ) , it is generally agreed that the basis of the radqueer ideology is acceptance of all queer identities to a radical extent.
This includes accepting and supporting controversial queer identities such as;
- mspec monos (ex: bi/pan/omni lesbians/gays)
- overlapping or contradictory labels (ex: lesboys/turigirls)
- trans-identities including non-gender
transids (ex: transrace, transage, etc.)
- paraphilias and parasexualities
The ideology also includes support for non-queer related subjects such as;
- non-traumagenic systems
- freedom in fiction (ex: pro/com/darkship, dark fiction, etc.)
- non-humanism (ex: therians, otherkins, etc.)
- FULL bodily autonomy
Generally speaking, and to sum this all up, radqueer means "live and let live" to it's fullest extent in terms of personal identity! remember identitys and lables cant hurt people only actions can !

People hate transrace beings until it’s transwhite. Actually non-radqueers don’t acknowledge transwhite at all on second thought. Transwhite folks interact y’all are just as valid as any other transrace being
Actually, we're probably getting the most hate besides WtA's, it's just people refer to white to poc as "cringe transracials" while we don't even get that. We're just treated as self hating individuals who cater to the white beauty standard to them. We don't even get to be seen as "transracial."
I don't understand why trace comparisons posts always go to comparing transphobia when you could go straight to addressing racism
