Guys, I have something I need to rant about.
So at school, my teacher assigned a two person project. Which is fine, I have no problems with school work, in fact I'm surpassing every subject. Anyway, my best friend and I of course partner up for the project that way we can cover more ground without issue. However, this is where the issue starts. My sweetheart, darling, heart bleeder of a friend decides it's a great idea to do a study session with another pair of students from our class. I know, sounds nice and all, we can get even MORE work done and help the other group to get a decent grade.
Is what I would say if the people we're doing the study session with ARE THE WORST SLACKERS EVER!! They don't do anything but GOOF OFF with each other, fall asleep in class, and eat unimaginably inedible things. THEY'RE LITERALLY CHALK EATERS (I can't fathom how they haven't had poisoning, they have to have contracted a disease of some sort I swear.)
We planned to meet at the library after school. Strangely enough, I cannot remember what the heck happened in there. I'm pretty sure we fell asleep at some point in the computer lab. I can't believe I fell asleep, when I woke up I saw that my friend and the two C+ plebeians were there as well. So basically we made NO PROGRESS that day. I blame the secondary party entirely.
The next day I didn't have much to do. I usually help this widowed lady to her errands, really nice. She gives me this really hard candy though that I think are almost like jaw breakers. Either way I like helping her out since I have nothing much else to do aside from working voluntarily at the library.
"So what's wrong? Shouldn't you be finished ranting about this a paragraph ago?" Here's the thing, there's a festival coming up soon in town and most people go with a friend of theirs, or dare I say a date. Which my first option is of course, my beautiful friend and project partner. Because of this I call her, the phone rings. She picks up and I ask for her hand to the festival. All goes well until I hear it. THE VOICE OF MY STUPID RIVAL giving me THE WRONG NUMBER SONG. This is the same person as the sleeper we'd try to study with at the library. It's bad enough they'd been in my dreams literally taunting me. That's another story.
Apparently my darling friend had them over for another study session at her house WITHOUT ME. The gall. The audacity. But alas, the festival is soon, perhaps someone of knowledgeable dignity shall grace me with their presence there.
