“Good thing too.” She said with a grin. “Now I guess I should ask why you are standing outside the entrance or the library of Merlin, but I think I can take a guess. You want to see what information is inside.”

“Well you are a lot taller than Eris, so forgive me if she made it seem you weren’t as tall as you are.” Merlin said, of course when Eris had said he was half fanalis she probably should have guessed he was taller.

“For my safety,” he replied “the situation back in Kou is…..dire. Everyone believes me to be dead, and if Avalon is discovered to be harboring me…things will not turn out well. Though this was the only country I knew I could go to.”
He really was causing more trouble than he was worth.
Merlin looks closer at him, of course personal space was not something she knew much about. She was eccentric after all.
“Hmmmm. So sending you to me she felt I could hide you in plain sight.” She said, of course she had been doing it herself for years to avoid the public eye.
“Well the more the merrier I guess. It isn’t exactly a home but I’ve made it one.”

He offered a small smirk at that.
“Wynter neglected to mention that your height rather….belies your ability.”
“....” Looking at him she held herself back. They were in Kou so it was not wise to act like she normally did. She stood there for a moment before speaking, almost calculation or diving into her own knowledge.
“So.. since i’m the same height as your wife, does that mean Wyn is short as well?” She asked knowing full well Wyn hated being referred to as ‘Short’.

The Merlin’s library was said to be the biggest collection of information in the world. It always showed itself in the kingdom that the previous Merlin had an affiliation to, so it was no surprise that it had appeared in Kou due to her teacher hailing from there. Getting in was nearly impossible without the current Merlin there.
Walking down the hallways of Kou’s palace she saw the first prince outside the doors of it. This was the guy her friend was getting married to. This was honestly the first time seeing him... probably. Sneaking up behind him she grinned.
“Maybe if you knock it’ll open.” she suggested.

“Wynter sent me,” Hakuyuu replied “but as for the barrier….I’m not sure how I got through…”
The former prince was confused, to say the least.
“Please, forgive me for the intrusion…”
“Huh....” She said thinking for a moment before pausing. “So her highness is active again huh? I for sure thought she’d be but.... nevermind.” Merlin stated looking at where she had put the barrier. It wasn’t very strong to begin with but it was almost impossible for someone to break it without know how she had placed it.
“Wyn sent ya huh? Did she say why?”
