‘’I-I wont tell anyone.. I promise.’’ She looked away. ‘’I’m not that kind of person that’s kissing random people either...’’ She felt bad for kissing him. It was her fault after all.
At first, her lips pulled down into a small frown, seeing how she wanted to be left alone, but curiosity nagged at her about having a chat with the female so she shrugged her shoulders, inched over a bit and patted the place next to her. “Knock yourself out, mate.”
‘’I’m a really big fan of you by the way.’’ She couldn’t hold back her inner fangirl, not when her favorite youtuber was right beside her. ‘’I’m a youtuber myself, you see.’’ She smiled, trying not to seem stupid about what she just said.
“Is this really necessary?“ Connor asks, looking at the girl before sighing in annoyance and reaching inside his pocket for his wallet. Taking it out, he looks for the ID and then shows it to her.
She avoided his question and looked at his ID. ‘’Alright, Connor Lockwood.’’ She found a new key to him at once. ‘’I’m sorry for the wait.’’
Sophia scoffed “Well that’s just not good enough.”
‘’I g-guess not...’’ She looked away for a moment, feeling really stupid. ‘’Thanks for the constructive criticism.’’ She said, trying to defend herself with a sassy comment.
Levi looked at the girl, then back to his sandwich, contemplating. “Okay, but I put Jalapeño peppers in here. Really spicy,” he said, holding the sandwich out.
‘’Gosh, I love spicy!’’ She took a big bite of the sandwich. ‘’Do I have to give it back to you?’’ She said with food in her mouth.
“It makes sense, it’s just very, very complicated. Are you sure? It’s three hours long, y’know.”
‘’I don’t have patience for that... Do you like complicated, Levi?’’ She mocked him.
“I was just asking if I could get a new keycard to my apartment? I lost mine this morning and I have no idea where my roommate is.”
‘’Yes, of course! Alexandria, right?’’ She asked with a smile, giving her a new keycard. ‘’Have you tried to call her?’’
“Oh, never mind. It was just a stupid joke. Sorry.”
‘’I’m just a bit off today... I’m sorry.’’
“I said, do you want to go to an award show with me?”
‘’Award show? Ehm... sure? I won’t be good company though.’’
“It was Pig Latin. I think. Honestly, I have no idea. I saw it on the internet with no English translation, so I could be calling you a fat dog or a tiny peacock. Who knows?!”
‘’Did you call me a pig? Why?’’ She sulked.
“Uh oh, this is my special corner to think, what do you think you’re doing here?”
‘’I saw you were sitting her all by yourself, so I wanted to give you some compony.’’ She sat down beside her. ‘’Can we think together?’’
Connor took a deep breath, he was getting incredibly annoyed by the Hotel’s employees not understanding him. Biting back a snarky comment, he decided to give the girl another chance. “My key? I lost it, reckon you could give me another one?“
‘’Oh…. Ehm. If you could show me your ID, that would be great.’’
“You know, you could try being awake at your desk for once, I bet if the manager saw you he wouldn’t be as nice as I was.”
‘’I-I was only a bit distracted… thats all.’’ She felt really uncomfortable, Erica didn’t like to be talked down to. ‘’It won’t happen again.’’
“Go away. I’m trying to eat my sandwich.”
‘’I’m Starving!’’ She sat beside him and looked at his sandwich.‘’Can I get a bite, please?’’ She added.
“C’mon, Erica, you’re not gonna make me explain the entire plot all over again, are you?”
‘’The plot doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.... Why can’t we watch it together instead?’’
“Ah, it does speak English. I asked for my mail.” Sophia leant against the reception desk “I don’t like to be kept waiting.”
‘’Oh, I’m sorry....’’ She instantly found Sophia’s mail and handed it over to her.
“There’s nothing for you to understand,” Avery said, looking the other girl up and down. “I was just reciting my lines to myself.”
‘’I-I thought you were talking to me....? My bad..’’
