The top is a picture of me when I was 3 days old. The two beneath it were taken 13512 days later. Today is my 37th birthday. 😊 I've experienced such an overwhelming amount of love today in the form of texts, emails, messages and phone calls. Friends have made time to take me out to celebrate, despite how close we are to Christmas now. I don't know what I did to deserve such amazing people in my life, but I'm going to try my best to be worthy of them. The past year has been far from easy. The year before was even worse. I've had to face a number of challenges, losses, hardships and heartaches. But as bad as things got, I never had to face any of it alone. I have an absolutely incredible support network, people who really believe in me and want to do what they can to help when it's needed. I feel truly blessed to have the family and friends I do. I'd be lost without them. On the subject of family, I finally have my sister back after an eight-year estrangement. Having her back in my life is the best birthday and Christmas present I could ever ask for. I have a niece and nephew now! It's so weird but I'm getting used to it. Anyway, as I mentioned before, I'm retiring this tumblr as of today. A good chunk of it has been deleted, but I wanted to preserve what's here. I'll be adding some of you to a new one soon, so keep an eye out for that. Let me know if you want to be included and you can come along, too. On to better things!
