She tried to push the nausea away, to forget how dry her throat was. But then he mentioned her being his partner, them kicking ass together, and not letting anyone overlook her or hurt her. Erica’s lip began to tremble and she had to turn away, but there was no hiding what she felt tonight. She couldn’t shove away how complete he made her feel and it honestly scared her. “Maybe it’s because I’m on my album tour right now. Maybe I should give that up...Hunter and Stephanie probably don’t like me doubling up too much.”
