Stellar Jays are just so pretty. I grabbed this photo of this beautiful bird over by the swinging bridge in Yosemite. This is the view from the switch backs leading up to the top of Nevada falls and the trail to take you to the bad of half dome in Yosemite. I’m curious as to what packs everyone is using. I’ve found that Gregory packs are the most comfortable and have a great build quality. This is the opposite view from the bridge at Nevada falls at sunset. What’s so crazy to me is that this photo was shot hand held and it’s still sharp. I’m loving my Sony a7R4. Yosemite is such a magical place and is like a gift that just keeps on giving. Lower Yosemite falls. Lots of mosquitoes but luckily the wind from the waterfall kept them away as long as you stayed on the bridge. I was trying so hard to get a good photo of a stellar jay and was not successful until I was at the swinging bridge taking photos of Yosemite falls and this wonderful guy was like hey they word on the trails is your trying to take photos of us. Lol I felt like this bird literally was posing for us. It flew right around us giving up photos of every angle. It made my day. This is one of many photos I took of bridal veil falls while hiking in Yosemite. I loved watching the falls as the wind would carry the water away. There was construction 🚧 so o had to get creative on how to get close. Luckily I had my 100-400mm GM lens and could zoom like a crazy person. Nevada falls is such a beautiful waterfall. This photo was taken with a 100-400mm zoom lens on top of glacier point. That lens is such a wonderful lens paired with my Sony a7R4. On the hike out from seeing the grizzly giant we took the Washburn trail. Nothing like the smell of pine and shade to bring a good hike to an end on a hot day. I’d recommend coming in on this trail and out on the road on the way back.
