over the years i’ve been using photoshop , i’ve come across several websites that have literally saved my life and made coming up with an aesthetically pleasing color scheme for your blog so much EASIER , so i decided to share it with all of you in case you’re interested in checking it out ! with palette generator , you can upload one of the graphics you’ve made for your blog , and the site will give you a color wheel with colors picked directly from your graphic ! what i really like about this site in particular is you can pick how many colors it’ll select for you as well as upload up to twenty images at a time for unique color palettes that you can easily switch back and forth to ! it’s honestly one of my favorite things i’ve uncovered so i hope it’ll be of use to you as well !

okay first of all, sorry for dragging you over to my rph but I just thought it made more sense to post this here ! I kind of got into indie rp fairly recently too so I totally feel ya. I didn’t really consult any guides or anything when I started but I did find this link HERE that seems very helpful. it had a bunch of links to guides ranging from formatting to guidelines. when I started I kind of modeled my page after what I had seen in the community but obviously made it to my own liking. here are just some tips from me personally to go along with all that good stuff I linked !    ♡ basics ! the main idea of an indie is that you have your own page with muse(s) who you can freely write against other people who also have muse(s). it’s essentially a limitless group. the first step is deciding on muses and getting a little page up with them. it doesn’t really matter how detailed because you can always just explain a bit about your muse to whoever you’re plotting with. make sure you also have an about/guidelines page so people can easily see your rules. this is basically like an rp rules page but just with whatever information you want your partners to know about writing with you. after that you’re pretty much ready to go ! I started off by finding and following a bunch of indie blogs. then you just message people for plots / post open starters / make a post asking for likes to plot ! I always repost plots in a wanted plots tag so it’s easy to find some plotting concepts. ( again this is such a basic explanation so maybe hit up that link for more in depth )   ♡ don’t be afraid to message people ! I was totally intimidated by some of the writing of others when I first started but everyone is so nice ( at least that I’ve come across ) in the indie community and normally people are totally amped about plotting with you.   ♡ don’t worry about stylistic or other “trends” ! make your page your own. indie is awesome because it gives so much freedom. don’t feel the need to make your fonts this aesthetic or your gifs that size. it’s COMPLETELY up to you ! it’s your blog, so do what you want with it. people will want to plot with you no matter what.   ♡ HAVE FUN ! this seems so obvious but I feel like people in the indie community ( even me ! ) tend to put pressure on themselves to do replies ... when in actuality it seems like everyone is so lenient and supportive of one another so replies will come when they come. it’s meant to be fun, and since it’s indie the whole concept is that you have the freedom to do what you want when you want. if I didn’t cover something / the link I provided doesn’t have everything you need .. always feel free to im me here or at my indie.

awe, thank you for letting me know, it seriously does help me when I’m trying to figure out who I should update / work on next. I’ll certainly keep that in mind. I’ve been in kind of a muse slump recently for photoshop even though I’m in the middle of like 27 projects but I’m hoping in the next couple weeks to be updating a few of my gif icons & maybe putting a few more previews out. I’m also stILL PLANNING ON putting out my manip making tips / guide soon. I’ve been traveling and haven’t had a moment to pull it together. plus just had a lot of writing muse vs. ps muse recently.
