So I have a flaw, or rather one of many. Whenever someone says "oh honey" and pats me on the head to emphasize that I'm younger than them, a girl and more inexperienced, I go ballistic. Italian mob family arguing crazy!! Which is not fun, often very rude and not very elequent. Thus resulting in me actually confirming the persons action to pet me on the head and "oh honey" me. In those moments I wish I could say this, in a calm and collected voice. "I know you are older than me and that you have a lot to teach me, but when you pet me on the head and make me little I loose respect for you, and instead of learning from your wisdom I come to resent it and see it as my enemy. So please treat me like an equal, explain new things to me as you would someone your own age and sex. Then and only then will I listen and you and I might actually connect and learn from one another." #whatIthinkaboutwhenimoutwalking
