me to me: bitch you stress me out
Today
In light of some recent news…
You are loved. You are not alone. You are valued by far more people than you think, more people than you will probably ever know. If you’re experiencing any kind of dark thoughts, depression, mental health, anything like that, there are always people you can talk to and things that can be done. Family, friends, people online, counsellors and therapists, phone lines, websites. It’s absolutely okay to let your feelings out and you don’t have to keep them to yourself, no matter how small they may seem. You can get through it because you deserve to get through it because the world will not be the same without you in it.
Take time to even just say hello to other people, because you never know when someone else might be needing it more than they are letting on. Everyone is deserving of love and support, be they friends, family, celebrities/your favourite creators, we are all human. And that reaching out includes on social media too. Often people mask their feelings online and appearances can be deceiving. But also remember that social media and all it’s constant feedback can get overwhelming, take breaks from all social media and take time to live in the moment, for yourself.
Look after yourself. Eat, drink, get sleep, take your medication. De-stress, do what you love. Read a book, bake a cake, draw some art, watch a film, a TV show or YouTube video…do what you love and don’t let anyone try and tell you it’s something that you shouldn’t do. Put yourself first. Because in the end, when it comes down to it, nothing else really matters.
