The sudden physical sting makes his mind race with a desperate, suffocating panic that this is a dream, but as the mark forms, he melts into absolute compliance. He will bury his face in your hair, sobbing out frantic, quiet whimpers of gratitude because you are physically marking him as yours. He will immediately hide the bruise under his heavy cloak or costume, guarding it like a sacred, deeply private secret that belongs only to the two of you.
Harlequin:
Harlequin goes entirely off the rails with hyperactive, manic ecstasy the moment he feels your lips and teeth on his neck. He lets out a loud, chaotic laugh, his wide eyes dilating with dangerous, twitching energy as he grips your waist tightly to hold you against him. He treats the love bite like an intense, exhilarating game, squirming and grinning widely as he demands you leave more. The mark satisfies his volatile possessiveness completely, and he will constantly point it out to you with smug, unblinking intensity.
Jester:
Jester lets out a sharp, surprised hiss when your teeth first sink into his skin, his dominant composure briefly slipping. Once he realizes what you are doing, his mocking smirk returns with an aggressive, possessive edge. He considers the mark a proud trophy of his complete ownership over you. He will proudly leave it exposed to the rest of the circus, using it as a loud, public declaration that you are thoroughly yours, before violently yanking you back into his lap to bite you right back twice as hard to re-establish who is the true master.
Ticket taker:
Ticket Taker responds with a heavy, frozen stillness that makes the surrounding air feel completely ice-cold. He does not flinch, groan, or smile as you bite into his dark form; his glowing eyes simply stare down at you with a piercing, unblinking intensity. He views the hickey as a permanent, binding seal on a contract—an official signature proving your total forfeiture of freedom. His massive, cold hand will slowly lock onto the back of your neck, pinning you tightly against his chest to trap you in his dark, silent cage forever.
Doctor:
Doctor pauses perfectly still, his analytical eyes narrowing as his cold composure instantly shifts into evaluation mode. He doesn't pull away from the sting; instead, his hands will rest directly over your pulse points or your chest, tracking exactly how fast your heart is racing while you claim his skin. He views the bite as a fascinating psychological development in your submission, tilting your chin up with a calm, unsettling grip afterward to quietly lecture you on the physiological bruising process while planning exactly where he is going to mark you in return.
But also less-good news! It needs to be reviewed and approved before it goes live @w@;; I guess I never realized that it would need a review upon publishing (though it makes sense in hindsight, especially as I have absolutely labeled the page as 18+)

if you gonna make an dark au or wharever, please TAG them properly, you cant describe a character being sexually abused and raped and go "ig this is noncon maybe" and then not tag it properly.

This question has been eating at me for a while, I was wondering if you maybe knew the answer.
We found out from the Columbina patreon ama that her nickname used to be 'Nina' or 'Nana', which pretty clearly seems to come from her name. That being said, we know the rest of the troupe have names inspired by Comedia dell'arte. For them to have called her such nicknames, though, means they must have called her that when she was alive.
Does this mean the Ringmaster is the one who assigned the Commedia dell'arte roles to them? If so, did they not have any nicknames for her prior to recieving these roles? Or did her old name use similar syllables and it's a coincidence?
I don't think this has been asked before, please ignore this if it has or if it's spoilery, but I'm really curious.

My impression was that the rest of the group (aside from nina) changed their names AFTER the ringmaster incident. Like, perhaps Columbina WAS her original name (the one she's always had), but everyone else previously had different names. Then, after the death of both her and the ringmaster, the circus members named themselves after the Comedia dell'arte as a means to honor her memory.
Still, that's just a guess on my part.
I honestly don't know for sure! But I doubt the monsters would EVER keep names The Ringmaster gave them, plus, with how awful that guy treated them it's not like he 'gave them an act' to be in a show when they were part of his troupe. It seemed, at least to me, that the ringmaster owned a 'freak' circus where humans could gawk/throw things at the monsters who were trapped in cages.
While Jester changed the circus to a more traditional one where they have shows, art, plays, etc.
Again though, that's just my impression, I haven't talked to Neko about my theory here or anything.

Hello destiny!! Hope you’re having a great today. Just wanted to ask how do you think the circus members first times were like? Minus Pierrot and doctor ofc.
Probably not the best? They're always on the run so.....
Harlequin: Standard first time--it's awkward, messy, but he's addicted to the feeling. It's also possible he learned from someone more experienced and/or channeled all he learned from the manyyyyyy humans he watched have sex. I wouldn't be surprised if he took notes lmao before getting to do it for the first time.
If his first time was with a human, I sadly would assume he had to devour them the moment they screamed and saw his true form. I could even see him crying afterward because he really enjoyed himself.
If his first time was with a monster, I'd imagine he felt lonely once they left---realizing that....yeah.....of course they'd have to leave...
TicketTaker: Gonna headcanon that his first time was with someone he genuinely cared about. Someone who said that he had value. It was nice, and he got better as they went on---but then this fellow monster reveals (perhaps to some friends and TT overheard it) that he was only using TT because he's a 'dull-claw' and it's easier for him to get meat. Basically admitting that he never cared about him and thinks he's weak. I could then see TT coming out hiding, likely killing all of them and proving them wrong.....crying after. ----but that's also a tad melodramatic. Could also be that he just fucked on the run once and the two got separated.....and he was sad about it, but there was no time to look for the other monster....so he just moved on.
Jester: He had sex with someone he liked, not loved or anything, but saw as a valued partner. They worked well together, had nice conversations---it was a good exchange, very even. Until one day, humans captured and killed his friend.....Jester did get his revenge and poured their blood over his friend's grave; grateful to having known him---mourning of course what could have been.
Destiny, a curiosity about Brazil mixed with a TicketTaker headcanon. I really like your humor so I wanted to comment; try to imagine the final scenario.
In some parts of Brazil, especially in the Northeast, which is the region where Bill comes from according to Neko, there's a custom among young children (preschool and elementary school) of calling someone older (tio/tia) "uncle" or "aunt" as a polite way of being polite (this only works in informal contexts and with some teachers). However, some people don't like being called that because they feel old.
And that's when the headcanon kicks in that every time a child sees TT and calls him "I'm not your uncle, kid, speak properly"

I'm very curious on what YOU think The members of the circus would do if M/C ever mentions being Asexual .. In one interview Pierrot answered but he didn't understand.
So let's say M/C did explain it, do you think Some members would no longer be attracted to M/C? Since, I think it doesn't really affect Pierrot, as much as it would someone like Harlequin.
Or am I stupid and it affects all of them or none of them? 🙏😭
I've answered this so many times.....
But really, my answer sometimes changes depending on what I've learned/think about regarding this topic.
I will say this though:
For an ace MC.....
...Harlequin, would just want to be friends with you, esp. if you didn't want to have ANY sex.
The thing is, he IS a sexual being and it would be hard for him to be with a partner who wasn't. The only way it could work with him is either:
You're on the ace spectrum where you do have sex, you both come to an understanding that he is allowed to sleep with other people but is emotionally loyal to you, or you're in the poly route with pierrot/MC/harlequin and Harlequin/Pierrot get to fuck while all three of you are in love.
The poly route, IMO, is the best option aside from the platonic Protagonist route (where you're just friends) for an ace MC.
As for Pierrot......
So, here's the thing....
I asked neko recently about this very topic and he said it would actually he VERY hard for him if MC didn't want to have sex at all.
That, Pierrot WOULD try to abstain, but, like Harlequin, he is a sexual being and it would be difficult. However, Pierrot has gone this far without sex and would for sure do it for MC if that's what they wanted.
Otherwise, the previous options are also available for this sort of MC with Pierrot---which again, I think the poly route helps here a TON and pretty much solves everything.
