I’m at work and am not able to reply or share all the wonderful anniversary wishes that so many people are posting, but I wanted to share a very special message that was requested on my stream last night by @shadowcarnivalen for a certain red-clad clown~!

Happy 1st anniversary to The Freak Circus!

Sending thanks to neko for making such a fascinating work of love that not only inspired me to get back into writing, but also broke me out of my shell to where I created my own loving community! The Freak Circus has genuinely been one of the best things to happen to me this past year.

I also want to thank tazz, darth, and destiny for their contributions as fans and as mods for TFC.

Thank you to all the talented artists, writers, voice actors, and other creative folks for showing your own love and dedication to The Freak Circus!

Happy one year anniversary to @freakcircusofhorrors!!

I've never made an animatic beefore so this was a bit of a passion project over the course of about 3 and a half weeks. I tried my best to show thanks to the game that really springboarded me into where I am now. Including a little thank you to @nekoboydreams and @darthsuki who honestly inspired me to try more creative and voice acting pursuits~

To say this was a chaotic mess for me to make would be an understatement. I drastically got a bit better and better as I made this... but I am never making this in as short of a time frame as I did again lol.

About Google Play

Yes, I am aware that someone unfortunately stole my game, modified it, and uploaded it to Google Play to profit from it. They have also made it accessible to younger audiences, which is both disappointing and disrespectful. I am currently following Google's removal process, but unfortunately it is quite slow. In the meantime, I ask everyone not to access or download the app. Every visit and download generates visibility and revenue for the people responsible for this unauthorized upload.

This situation is incredibly disappointing and stressful, and resolving it will remain one of my top priorities alongside the game's development.

About the update

I'd also like to share some exciting news the script for this update is now completely finished!

At the moment, I'm focusing on fixing the code and cleaning up the remaining minor bugs before I begin implementing everything. Below you'll find a flowchart showing just how big this update is going to be. I always love giving players lots of different possibilities, and as a result the game's routes keep growing larger and larger haha! And yes! its blur x3

So a friend and I were talking about the characterization of Pierrot and how, well, the general fandom seems to be looking at him.

I've had a feeling that a good chunk of people only have surface level knowledge of Pierrot, or even just get most of their "content" from fanon, rather than looking at the actual source material.

Pierrot himself during his nighttime rambles shows us, the reader, so much more. Yes, he shows MC his sweet side, smiling and showing affection. And when we make all the choices he agrees with, he plays nice.

But I stated it this way "He is playing nice because it is working. If it wasn't working, he wouldn't BE nice."

MC doesn't get to see Pierrot being scary because he's trying to do things the easy way. However, he makes it abundantly clear that he's not taking no for an answer, and that you belong to him, period.

So yes, Pierrot comes off as a cute innocent precious bean who could do no wrong, but if that's all you see, you've fallen for his little act.

He can be. And will be. Very scary. Even in front of MC. He's just usually been good at holding back. He does his best to hide his fangs, but sometimes he slips when things aren't going his way.
