Okay I literally just finished this book, like 2 minutes ago. Once I first started, I just could not put it down! Angels and Demons have never been hotter! Akrmon is the original demon who seduced Eve at the beginning of time in the Garden of Eden. But he defiantly was not in his snake form it was his other snake he used (his words not mine!). Veroseline is a kick butt angel who is hiding out on earth with the others of her kind who are just trying to stay alive during this zombie outbreak when it seems their Almighty has abandoned all of them. ABANDON HOPE ALL YEE WHO ENTER HERE. (Okay sorry could not help myself.) But when on a mission to protect the strong hold Vero comes across what she thinks is an angel about to be devoured by a horde of zombies, it turns out to be a demon and she has just made a huge mistake. Now with a bond between them Akromon and Versoeline must work together to save themselves and others from the Demon Army that is coming to the gates of Eden. But with the threat of Vero becoming a demon and losing her soul be to much for Akrmon to risk when it comes to finding love for the first time in all his years? Have you ever read a book that you never wanted to end? I fell in love Drago and Katya within the first few pages! Drago tried to let Katya live her own life but you know the saying  "let it go, and if it comes back it's meant to be." That quote is a perfect example of this book. When an old enemy finally decides to show his face in Chicago Drago has no choice but to bring Katya home where she belongs with him. Drago is a hard man who has so much blood on his hands, but you can't help but feel connected to him. No matter how dirty his hands get you never doubt the sincerity of his love. (I'm sure reading his parts in a Russian accent doesn't hurt it either.) This is my first read by author Kristin Alexander but I can safely say she has a fan for life!

This book is two of my favorite genres Mafia and Arranged Marriage.  This is book 2 of the series I have not read book 1. Valentina comes off as a sassy widow, who is surprisingly still a virgin and no one knows this juicy little secret. She is promised to Dante Cavallaro who is also a widow. But with Dante the head of the Chicago crime family he has to remarry even though he loved his former wife and his heart died with her. These 2 are complete opposites and clearly expected different things from this marriage. I didn't know if they'd ever be able to make it work. With so many twist and turns I was on the edge of my seat and couldn't put the book down it's definitely worth a read.

Does anyone else love paranormal as much as me? Well enter the Kingdom of Chalys where everyone still lives as if it's regency England. Literally I mean right down to the corsets and carriages, no modern technology allowed. The catch? There's angels, demons, werewolves and you guessed it VAMPIRES! The story starts off with a young girl named Rhapsody and her mom starting their lives over. But it's noticed that Rhapsody is special in many ways. The most important of which is shes the heart-keeper to the Marquis of Sangre. The Marquis and Rhapsody spend many years communicating thru nothing but letters and never meeting. But when Rhapsody is of age and away at finishing school for a role she never foresaw she meets her Master for the first time. The chemistry is so amazing that she knows it's him without even realizing it. Their souls call to one another. But is happily ever after that is easy? Especially when neither is what the other would call normal. (Even though I guess it's not technically a series, there are other books apart of this world.)

Whenever I see a book title with Sheikh in it, i'm always like YES PLEASE! This is kind of short story, just straight to the point but with some intrigue. Ella's just a small town girl who's now a princess because her mom married a King. Which is stressful enough but her step brother is a total jerk to her and she has no idea why, but that's okay because Ella finds him equally disgusting. Who's the him I'm referring too? The Sheikh Khal. Khal is trying to hide his attraction to Ella but it's a little hard to do when he decides that while his father is on his honeymoon he's in charge and Ella needs a very firm hand in royal life. So if you're feeling a little daring read this book and fall in love with a bully.

Other themes: age gap romance, older man romance, enemies to lovers romance, new adult romance

Have you ever read a romance novel where you just felt like the hero didn't deserve the heroine and you just wanted her to say NO I DON'T FORGIVE YOU, IT IS TOO MUCH! Well that's how i felt at the end of this saga. Be warned this a 3 book saga I didn't realize that when I started to read book 1. Book 1 which is titled off LIMITS had me hooked from beginning to end. Alec is a newly single father who's not looking for anything serious just a "happy ending" and then he meets Lumen. Lumen who has had a pretty rough start in life is about to make her own dreams come true with a new career. The humor thru out book one was a great find compared to other romance novels. I wont go into much detail about book 2 or 3 or I'll give away the story. But the series was a good find available on KU now it won't disappoint.

This was a quick read for me, my first read with the author Lena Hampton. When the book first started I met Serenity on her way to work (late, total mood) and she wins VIP tickets to a Wilder Man concert. Of course this is so awesome even though she has no idea who he is or any country music really. As a country music lover  myself I thought that was a travesty! But luckily her BFF Ava talks her into attending the concert anyway. From the first meeting Wilder was the one who was star struck by Serenity. Have you ever come across a character who creates their own problems in their own head? Well enter Serenity. She gives Wilder a good chase but in the end their love cannot be denied. So come and fall in love with this so unlikely couple.
