if you ever decide to start baseball rpfing on public twitter you should know:

there are players on twitter

there are family and friends of players on twitter

there are journalists and coaches and team social media employees and

it is very very easy for things to be algorithmically be suggested to people even if you don't use full names of players etc. this has happened at several points with the jays recently and in the past couple of years. not good.

you really shouldn't be rpfing on twitter at all unless you have a private account you keep locked down.

you can have fun with content where the players are having fun and being silly and hugging or whatever. you can be happy that they're friends or say they're cute. but anything all that much beyond that? if you don't want players and their families and literally anyone involved in baseball to see it, don't. post on tumblr. make a private twitter. make a group chat or a discord server.

also while i'm at it. if you link to or repost other ppls stuff from tumblr without permission, that's such asshole behaviour. don't. 1, that's their stuff you're reposting, usually without credit, and 2. if they wanted it on twitter they would have posted it there. they posted it on a specific website because that's where they wanted it to be, likely because of the smaller and more "fandomy" audience here. ask permission and respect a no. i've seen some gifs on twitter recently that definitely came from tumblr, not posted by the same person, and definitely not with permission.
