The show is a lovely childhood memory for me, though it is something which I must not re-watch. I know it would ruin memories, because the movies are far too cheesy for grown ups. Although, I think originally these were only post card characters...
I hope a new show with crazy design won't appear and flood deviant art (like in the case of My Little Pony), because it would destroy the show for me...
When I was a small child, I use to love Care Bears. Actually, I was crazy for the soft toys. We couldn't really buy them in my country, but occasionally I got a bear from abroad. At that time, I always dreamed that I could get the other animals since I found them more distinguishable, but I've never got any. About a decade later, (at the age of internet :) ) I checked whether I can buy them with low prices, but i shocked that they wasn't cheep at all. The horse alone cost more than 200 pounds....
I cannot remember (or I have never knew) the name of each characters. All was called "something-heart" and the name of the animal.
Nicholas was the name of the illusionist assistant with the cursed magic book in the first movie. I think the red spirit boy form the second movie had no proper name...
