Marriage of convenience Sasuke & Hinata would be worth it on Hijinks alone. every conversation with Sasuke takes 10 months off of Hiashi's life, which is what hina is REALLY looking for in a life partner (Naruto would have also fulfilled this requirement, of course). Kiba and Shino give him shovel talks and he's like 'we aren't even actually together?' and they're like 'yeah, duh, and? that's not the point the point is that if she's ever sad we will kill you'. They don't even pretend to know anything about each other. They are both trying to date Naruto and/or Sakura but Naruto doesn't understand clan politics and would NEVER betray either of his friends by being the other man in a relationship!! and Sakura would totally be down except her and Naruto accidentally started dating last month and it's actually going (not so) surprisingly well. Hinata marries out of the clan ostensibly to 'help Sasuke rebuild his clan', even though really he's just gonna cash in some favors with Orochimaru and get a bunch of close babies out of the eyes Danzo oh-so-helpfully preserved for years (though this is a point of moral contention- is this desecrating the corpses of his families, or continuing their legacy that would otherwise die with him?) Sasuke and Hinata raising baby-Obito-clone would be like crack cocaine for the soul. Sasuke blows off revolutionary steam by abolishing slavery and probably killing Hiashi eventually. The logical endpoint after many hijinx is Naru/sasu/saku/hina poly relationship except HInata and Sasuke STILL aren't remotely interested in each other. Despite being the only ones married. People get increasingly confused and concerned about the Byakugan not showing up in any of these kids, or honestly any of Hinata's traits, and the fact that Hinata is never pregnant. Hanabi reprimands them for being transphobic and then goes over to have tea with her sister and gets accused of hate crimes for poisoning Sasuke's tea. Can't blame a girl for trying.
