If you know me, you won't be surprised by the quantity of OCs I created and my mad attempts to give them the rounder personality and the cruelest story ever written. But! These days I long for warm, cozy scenarios.

BeemovGames series:
Poppy Josaine Ainsworth-Page (She/her): biological daughter of Méline Page (my OC, Any pronouns) and Lysander Ainsworth from My Candy Love. Since Castiel Veilmont is another partner of her father and the man participates actively in raising her, Poppy calls him Dad too.
Venance Debois-Noigíallach (He/him): son of Beulah Debois (my OC, She/her) and Neil Noigìallach from Moonlight Lovers. In this AU, Neil bury the hatchet and seek proper asylum in the Manor. After a lot of negotiation, it happens and he settles in Beulah's apartments. Beulah expresses grief for not to be able to give birth to a child herself and have a "proper family", so Neil resort to ancient ritual and... Venance is here. In an overcrowed Manor, but still here and loved by every other vampire as their own.
Ezra Sauveterre-Talbot (He/They): a little dragon, found when he was still an egg and raised by Séraphine Sauveterre (my OC, She/They) and Lance from Eldarya. The surname Talbot is not canonical, I chose it myself for Lance and Valkyon. Ezra is a little miracle and everyone is looking forward the great things he could achive. But mom and dad are both tired of war...
Faro De Lavienne-Dolga (He/him): son of Célestine Dolga (my OC, She/her) and Amanda from My Candy Love NewGen. I'm still figuring out his story, since I am really affectionate to Jason and I would like him to be another partner to Célestine.
Stardew Valley:
Beniamino (He/him) and Priscilla Bede-Sorrel (She/her): the children of my OC Orestes (He/him) and Elliott. The surname Sorrel is not canonical, I chose it myself for Elliott. The children were siblings from the same mother, but she was forced to part with them; and they were both adopted by the couple. Once grown up, Priscilla will leave home in search of her biological mother, leaving Orestes heartbroken and resentful. If fates assists, the woman will reconnect with Beniamino too and move next to Pelican Town to atone the past assence, but Orestes will not make this so simple... She'll became an official OC of mine soon: her name is Dinah.

The Arcana:
Didem (She/her) and Meelis Alemoğlu-Vainio (He/him): the children of my OC Hilal (He/him) and Valerius. The surname Vainio is not canonical, I chose it myself for Valerius. Didem is the oldest daughter and was adopted by the couple, while Meelis, the youngest son, is their biological child. When Hilal was young, he needed an emercency, unilateral salpingectomy, that reduced drastically his chances to conceive; so... You could imagine the surprise and the joy. He is thinking about having a third too!
Levi Gevashili, then Levi Alemonos and then again Levi Alemonos-Morgasson (He/him): the son of my OC Larissa Alemonos (She/her). She had him with Zevi Gevashili (He/him), her first husband, but the man was neglectful towards both and at the first chance she fled with the child. Once she settled in Vesuvia and become Count Lucio's mistress, she persuaded him to adopt Levi as his own. In the canon universe, Levi openly despises both his biological and his adoptive father and often claims to be an orphan; in an AU, I would like him to find in Lucio someone to grow together with.
XOXO Droplets:
Desemparados Concha "Conchita" Machado-Valera (She/her): the daughter of my OC Reyes (He/him) and Nurse Lynn. Reyes gave birth to and raised Conchita alone, since Lynn was and is still married to a woman. Conchita doesn't seems curious about his other biological father and, while Lynn would like to participate in her growth and be closer, she keeps him at distance. She occasionally accepts to spend time together only to please Reyes, but doesn't spare the "stranger", as she calls him, from witty remarks.

My in-game ships in Date Everything!. Premises and Part I 💫
Some premises before starting:
💫 I don't really like self-shipping, so I created not one, but two OCs for having my fun in Date Everything!: they are twins and their name are Zita (She/They) and Zibà (He/Him).
💫 I'm still working on their dynamic, their general information, their lore, their relationships with the dateables, etc., but there are some aspects about them that won't be negotiable. While I love my OCs being reinterpreted by other people and being objects for a fanart or characters in a fanfiction, I want their skin colour and features, their heritage, their gender, their sexual / romantic / relationship orientation respected. Easy, no?
💫 The twins are brown people, probably second-generation immigrants from a Middle East country. I haven't choosen the specifics yet and any suggestion on the topic is really appreciated. While Zita rejects totally her heritage, Zibà finds comfort in it. But both of them feels something is missing...
💫 Zita is a non binary person, she uses feminine and neutral pronouns, she is bisexual with a strong preference for women and she is a struggling polyamorist. When I say struggling I intend that she would prefer to kill a bear bare hands rather than open up about her true feelings.
💫 Zibà is a trans* man who still suffers from gender dysphoria, an unspeakable pain that escalated in an ED. He is still recovering, still doing a lot of mistakes, but still trying. Said that, he uses only masculine pronouns, he is bisexual with a strong preference for older men and he is polyamorous.

💫 Ships with canonical endings 💫
Abel/Dasha: a cute couple, even if it's not my usual cup of tea. Zita had (and still has) an unrequited crush for Abel.
Artt/Dough: just... Why?
Celia/Florence: the OTP™️. I shipped them since their first appearance on the screen. Zita feels physical attraction towards both women, but has never addressed it in order to preserve their friendship.
Curt/Rod: I know they are not a romantic duo in their ending, but I tought they were worth mentioning since their history. I really prefer them as best friends or platonic soulmates rather than as a couple.
Dirk/Harper: please, I'll pay you therapy. They were painful to witness.
Drysdale/Washford: my stupid, annoying bastards. Zibà loves Washford and he is Drysdale's close friend, so they all agreed on an open, polyamorous relationship, with Washford as the hinge. Zibà occasionally indulges in sensual acts with Drysdale too.
Eddie/Volt: I like them both as two parts of the same individual and as a couple. Zibà flirts playfully with both, but none of them has expressed the desire to deepen the bond.
The Hanks: a platonic polycule if you ask me. I loved the postcard with baby Hank 0 🩵
Tina/Tony: please, I'll pay you therapy prt. II. At first I found them grotesque in a hilarious way, but then they hit a bit too close to home.

Hilal is still figuring a lot of things out and describes himself as a queer guy for shortness. He is transmasculine, but feels conflicted about describing himself as a man; he likes both men and women, but sees himself married only to a man; and to be totally fair, he doesn't even know if only one husband in life and death wouldn't be boring in the long run.
The only sure thing is that I like sucking, he usually says.

Story:
Early life
Hilal was born as *** Alemonos in Zadith. He was the only and beloved child of Panos Alemonos, a Karnassian man, and Nida Binici, a native woman. For several reasons, their marriage didn't last and Panos left Zadith when Hilal was only eight and never came back.
Hilal grew up with his mother and pursued a high-level education, more to satisfy her desires than his own. When Lucio's army attacked Karnassos, Hilal had just become a teacher in a small primary school; Panos was reported missing and his older sister Larissa chose to join Vesuvia's court as Lucio's mistress.
She wrote to Nida a letter offering her money, protection and everything Panos didn't give her. Nida refused, but asked Larissa to take Hilal under her wing instead. In no time and with no one bothering to ask his opinion or giving him any further explanation, Hilal found himself in Vesuvia as his little cousin Levi's tutor, completely lost and bewitched by the golden light of the court.
The Red Plague and the Masquerade
Hilal quickly learnt that the court was only a cage, but managed to take care of his position and win everyone's hearts. He befriended Julian, Asra and even the Countess Nadia; in the meanwhile he cultivated civil but shallow relationships with the Count and his entourage. He started an affair with Valerius, full of ups and downs.
But when Lucio contracted the Plague, Levi fell ill too and Hilal chose to follow the Count's mad attempts, hoping to save the child, and ended up alienating himself from his friends.
On the Masquerade night, along with Asra's sabotage, Hilal took action to give the body meant for Lucio to Levi, but the ritual failed and all of them risked being burned alive. Only Larissa's intervention prevented their death, but the woman disappeared, eaten by the flames.
Three years interlude
Levi luckily survived, but his body was frail and his head full of anxious questions about his mother's destiny. Without her patronage, Hilal's position in the court became vulnerable too and only through Valerius he gained enough time to stabilise the situation. He took the child to the countryside, where Larissa had real estate, trying to give him at least a peaceful recovery; and started to work among the Palace's servants. He befriended the new-comer Portia, who quickly became his confidant. When Nadia woke up from her sleep and was informed about all the events, she took pity on Hilal and called him and Levi back to the court. The child was granted shelter and education, but started having hallucinations about the dead Count and his mother...

Most significative relationships:
Nida Binici: his mother. Nida was always proud and had a strong personality, she raised her child alone and Hilal will always be grateful to her. But... Some more cuddles, some more sweet words, some more consideration to Hilal's desires wouldn't have hurt.
Panos Alemonos: his father. Hilal remembers him as the most cheerful man of the town, but with really sad eyes. Hilal not so secretly hopes to see him again for asking him "why?".
Larissa Alemonos: his paternal aunt. Hilal arrived at Vesuvia's court through her because she was Lucio's mistress at the time. They love each other and Hilal is loyal and grateful to her, but they don't often see eye to eye on political matters.
Levi Alemonos: his cousin, Larissa's only child. Hilal is responsible for his education and Levi sees him as an older brother, if not as a father even.
Umbrena Sassomarino: @larmegliamori's Apprentice. She and Hilal are besties, like Fla and me!
Consul Valerius: his colleague and lover. They are bound by a deep lust and it's pretty difficult to ignore the everlasting tension between them. They never talked openly about their relationship and Hilal, drained by this silence, gave Valerius a sort of ultimatum. He is waiting for his response.
Count Lucio: his lord. Even after all he did, Hilal still can’t fully despise him. He thinks of him as a sad, but really stupid child.
Countess Nadia: his lady. Hilal feels a deep affection towards her, but they never discussed the specifics. And knowing Portia’s devotion and love for the Countess, maybe they would never.
Julian Devorak: his physician and occasional flirt. Well, if Valerius doesn’t reply…
Portia Devorak: his colleague and one of his best-friends. Whenever Hilal needs a break from the nobles and their hypocrisy, Portia is there with a supportive shoulder and a smirk on her face.
Asra Alnazar: his ex. They broke up long ago and their relationship is now friendly and polite, but they still bicker A LOT.
Muriel: his acquaintance. But “A friend of a friend of mine is my friend” in Hilal’s mind. Who knows what Muriel could think about it.

ʙᴇᴛᴛᴇʀ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʏᴏᴜ
Let's start saying Eddie didn't expect for Volt to turn out like this. Yes, maybe more cheerful, more outstanding than him, without his insecurities and (what he thinks are) flaws... but this much? Well, it was a surprise. Not a bad one though, just... wow.
And no matter what, a part of Eddie will always think Volt is like a better version of him - and someone he must protect with every single spark of energy in his body. Every last thought of the day is for him, every gaze full of poorly-concealed affection for him, even a lot of his dreams involve Volt. And the night flies away calmer and sweeter every time it happens.
For Volt, however, is the opposite: between them, Eddie is the one who deserves all the praise and admiration, and doesn't hide it, much to the latter's huffs and flustered reactions (more than once, to hide how his ego likes the whole situation). There is no way, and never will be, to tell who holds the other in higher consideration.
The embodiment of connection, on a physical and spiritual level: when something happens and the mood of one of them drops or raises, the other feels the change in the heart; the same situation when one hurts himself while working, or feels fatigued/full of energies. So there is no need to guess how the day is going for the other half: they already know everything.
From time to time they can be found in the middle of a disagreement, often, but not only, on the workaholic tendencies of Eddie; but it never evolves in a fight or quarrel, because they have their own ways to find a compromise and stop before things could become irreparable. They matter so much to each other the thought of parting ways never crosses their minds, nor could they bear or allow to be divided from one another. The terror they feel at the pure mention of it is utter and real.
They both can pretty accept bad and futile criticism about themselves: Volt reacts with a smile and a sarcastic comment, or by ignoring the whole speech, while Eddie gives the silent treatment or gently invites the other to f*ck off, or, like Volt, pretends they don't exist. But if the target of the whole criticism is the companion... run. Run for your life. Take cover and pray the lightning won't find you. And be ready to work very, very hard if you want to mend your relationship with them, after.
Touching lighter territories, how do they show affection for each other? Eddie chooses actions, while Volt has no preference and goes both for words and actions.
So, Eddie loves to keep a silent watch over Volt and his needs, like saving a drink for him, so during the breaks between a performance and another the club master doesn't have to wait a second before a good sip and a moment of breath; taking care of noisy, drunk or unwanted visitors without disturbing Volt and his work; or cooking something for him, no matter how busy he is, to make the latter's day easier.
But not breakfast: it falls under Volt's realm, the one who wakes up first. He doesn't forget his usual elegance, putting a flower and a romantic quote - or a poem written by him - on Eddie's plate while he's setting the table, and then going to wake up the sleeping beauty with a kiss and some cuddles.
If he has to, Volt gladly picks Eddie up in his arms and carries him in the kitchen: not in a blink of an eye, but taking his time in savoring the perfect, sweet weight of the companion's body, and chuckling while the other grumbles and protests.
This; and the last drink, and dance, is all for Eddie. Sensual, calm jazz music filling the club, the lights soft and discreet on their heads, bodies moving together following the slow, intense rhythm of their sensations. A moment only for them, far away from every judgement and comment. Just them, as a whole.
A secret for both: Eddie has tried to draw Volt as one of the statues he has seen in a book of Artt, and still has the sketches somewhere, too shy to show them and ready to fight monsters to protect them; Volt, instead, has considered more than once to write spicy fics involving two characters clearly based on him and Eddie, and to ask Lyric to publish them after.
Funny hc (and a cute reference for who knows what I'm talking about lol): one of their first... dates? once realized takes place in an aquarium. It's an idea coming from Volt, and Eddie agrees without any complaint. They have a great day, letting their minds free to chase the wonderful creatures they see and falling prisoners of a long, stunned silence while staring at them. They only gasp and share a smile before the moral eels... but they don't know why. It's just a sensation... or maybe not?

I had been organizing this event three years in a row over at my artblog @artofmisi and people kept asking me, and they say three time’s the charm, so I went for it as a way of having things organized in one blog, and so people who want to participate in my version of this event can have an updated and controlled place to stay informed. Also, I just love OCkiss :P
• Has OCkiss been organized by other people?
Absolutely, and I take no credit for their idea nor their work! As far as I’m aware of, @/becausedragonage is the first one who did it on this post in 2016 with #ockiss16, and then @/slavetothemocha followed with #ockiss17 the following year on this post. From 2018 until this day, I have organized it every year. I’m not aware of other people organizing it, but if you do, please let me know and I will add them to this list!
• Is OCkiss exclusive to Tumblr?
You can participate and post on your preferred social media, however, OCkiss will only be sharing entries here on Tumblr. There are two reasons for it: 1) I really want to help reblog culture on this site, and promote creators by sharing their work and 2) I simply don’t have time to check every social network!
• Why is it in February / will it always be in February?
Why: because I want to fill St. Capitalism-dressed-as-Love week with genuine enthusiasm and love towards original characters and their creators. So yes, this version of the event on this blog will always be organized for whatever week Valentine’s falls on that year.
