[Honestly I don't exactly know what I'm writing about,I'm just writing this because I suddenly remembered all my Itha AUs and now I must write about them otherwise I will explode.Shoutout to my twin @constantlyprojecting for being the AU co writer and for feeding me with fics about my silly Itha AUs🤍]
-Is adopted by Lagertha in this AU after their escape together from the Plateau of Leng before the witch hunt began
-A big history and astronomy fan
-Occasionally writes short stories and reads them to Ithaqua and Lagertha near the fireplace
-Not the best at handling winter temperatures
-Is learning sword fighting and practices with Lagertha as his mentor
-Helps Itha wash his hair sometimes whenever they bathe together
-Mostly never goes out and stays back watching the cabin while Itha and Lagertha goes to hunt and gather wood etc
(They moved to another forest that snows almost all year due to the Vilulfs slowly becoming more known and feared on seas+Lagertha being a Vilulf)

-His back is littered with scars caused by his father and past teachers
-Love had slowly started to become a conditional thing,almost like a reward ever since he started to ask questions a lot as a child when growing up in the Norwell household
-He still gets nightmares about his old home and the occasional shock of having to wake up extremely early as a habit taught by his father even after the escape
-He gets jealous sometimes about the fact that Itha got to have a better childhood than him while Nathaniel himself was forced to be the Norwell family's next big thing
-Gradually got more comfortable with his new family and even loved Itha like his own brother
-Called Lagertha mom once accidentally as a mistake and now he really sees her as his mother and refers to her as one now
-The sunshine of the family
-Still teases his mother and brother and plays a lot even at his big age
(The twins are around 16-20 during the moving)
-Once asked Lagertha if he could keep the fishes they caught as a pet but was sadly denied the request due to the cold climate being hard to maintain a domesticated fish
-Yaps to his brother a lot when Lagertha isn't home
-Literally BEGS Nathaniel to play in the snow with him but God forbid Nathaniel never really got accustomed to the cold winter temperature living in town for most of his life.Once Nathaniel got a pretty nasty cold after they played outside for a bit too long.
-Somehow recognizes the birds that comes by and even gave each bird a name
-Likes to bring his family small gifts,be it small wooden sculptures or his best attempts at trying to sew/knit something after watching their mother sew Itha's cloak
-Comforts Nathaniel after each horrific nightmare
-Snores like a thunderstorm is happening
-Stays up to watch over them when they sleep until 12am
-Treasures every little gift her boys gifts her
-Sometimes speaks using idioms
-Still thinks about how Ragnar is doing,he hasn't been replying for a while
-Hums whenever she goes on walks out in the forest
