Hey, thanks for the offer, but I wonāt lie, I do miss degrassi. That doesnāt necessarily mean I still care about the show or fandom now, though. Idk if that makes sense, but I miss the nostalgia more than I actually miss talking about the show or being involved in the fandom. Iāve moved on from it, so Iām going to pass. Sorry again, but no thanks!
Are there any beyond the spiderverse leakers? Someone who saw the leaks said margo either didnāt appear at all or only had a small scene next to gwen, if Iām remembering correctly. Iām shaking because it feels like a hint that margo doesnāt have a huge role if they didnāt even include her in the trailer. Iām starting to accept that flowerbyte probably wonāt be endgame and miles will end up going back to gwen lmao. So if youāre a leaker, please tell me something.
Teen wolf, pretty little liars, switched at birth, the fosters, and degrassi were THE shows back in the day. Plus the legend of korra when it was airing. The ship wars, discourse, and constant disappointment were on another level. These new shows just donāt hit the same anymore. I miss those days.
Also, they were separated from seasons 4 through 6, so all the build up was still in season 3, when she died, I think. By the time she came back, theyād been apart for so long that it was basically, uh, they donāt even know each other anymore, and there was no new build up between them. I donāt think most scallison shippers were actually satisfied or even happy with it. For me, it didnāt bring back my old love for scallison at all, lmao. I still obviously love the ship, but resurrecting allison didnāt magically undo years of moving on from them. It just felt flat because of the decision to write her off like that in the first place.
Killing allison off was one of the worst decisions they made. I was so attached to her and her relationship with scott, but I was genuinely devastated and disappointed when she died. Eventually, I accepted that she was gone and moved on from the ship. I even became a scira shipper, so by the time the movie came around, I had fully moved on and was invested in scott and kira instead. Then they randomly brought allison back from the dead, and I was like, āWait, so I went through all that emotional damage, accepted her death, moved on from scallison, became a scira shipper, and NOW you bring her back?ā It genuinely felt like the writers resurrected her after I had already emotionally closed that chapter. If they always intended to bring allison back, they couldāve just had her move to another town instead of killing her off, making everyone grieve her, and then undoing it years later. And from a scallison perspective, what did her resurrection even accomplish? It didnāt restore the original relationship or give scallison meaningful payoff. If anything, it just made her death feel less impactful. I wasnāt even satisfied because they spent the majority of the season (Iām recalling this from an old memory from years ago) building up scott and kira and getting everyone to ship them. I had already accepted that allison was gone, moved on, & became a scira shipper, only for the movie to resurrect allison like I hadnāt spent years getting over that ship in the first place. I legit had no emotional reaction to my old ship anymore, and I blame the writers for that.

Lottiana lesbian headcanon: Charlotte thought she was supposed to be obsessed with princes, but what she was really obsessed with was the idea of love and devotion, and tiana was the only person who ever actually gave her that in a real, grounded way. So all that āprince chasingā was basically her performing what she thought she was meant to want, while the real emotional attachment was always tiana. šøšøš¾
Look at the way lottie looks at tiana. My headcanon for charlotte isnāt off. I honestly believe charlotte is a closeted lesbian, regardless of how āmale obsessedā they make her. But I do see tiana as bi or straight lol.
KaruTema headcanon: They argue a lot in a really efficient, sharp way, then just move on like nothing even happened. No lingering drama, just blunt opinions and mutual understanding. Theyād easily fall into that āI donāt always agree with you, but I trust youāve got my backā type of bond. And if you lean into ship territory, itās very much a slow build where neither of them really labels anything, they just keep choosing each other in small, consistent ways. šŖā”ļø
Hoppers is a good movie. I get why itās sitting at 92%. It wasnāt bad at all; just not something Iād rewatch back to back. Still, itās a really solid movie.
My favorite scene was the butterfly scene, her getting squished lmao, and the rest of the animal kings and queens. This movie is on my bucket list to come back to once I get better at drawing. š¦š¦š
I struggle with using guidelines to draw faces, so I end up staring at the reference and copying it. It works for front views, but I know I need to get out of my comfort zone to improve. If you have good resources for learning how to draw anything, please share youtube videos, books, PDFs, or anything else.
After staring at it, it looks so horrible, but when I first drew it I thought I ate that lol. I was never able to get even slightly accurate when drawing people. I guess practicing with those morpho anatomy books helped a lot since I was never this decent at drawing before.
