Progress of my art over the years. I see biggest diference in time consumption and in the feeling of how much work it is for me to draw one piece. Years ago I would spend week on one pencil sketch (as the 2013 one) and had a lot of problems with it (also it was very occasional that I would move the piece further from pencil sketch), today I do multiple pencil sketches in one evening and bunch of colored pieces in a week. I also have bigger range of topics I can draw (larger visual library).

So you can see the whole process from reference to final artwork. Mostly I do the pencil sketch, than trace the lineart from it on clear paper sheat (thin marker paper). Than I use light table (in my case just transparent plastic board and lamp) to trace the lineart on aquarelle paper. After colouring the picture I finish it by black liner and white gelly pen. 

The digital study works as comparison of skills for me - I am trying to learn digital paitning currently.
