maybe i'm just not american enough but i'm getting really fed up by people - even ostensibly progressive people - holding sexual art to the kind of standards that no other art is held to. like i saw someone on bsky say that there should be conversations about what kind of art should be allowed to exist, "especially sexual", and i'm just like ???? what the fuck do you mean, "especially sexual"? why? why not violent art? why is it okay for people to create violent art just because, without needing to defend or justify it, but the moment art is sexual you need some deep reason for it that justifies its existence?

So I’m minding my own business coloring a cool picture on my iPad, when facebook pops up with this friend of a friend suggestion. I read the notification and I’m like “oh facebook, I can add this person as I friend? You’ll let me? How kind” I hate the algorithm. It’s been doing this suggesting friend of a friend a lot lately.

Sitting here listening to Thundercat. Specifically the album called “Drunk”. My mom put it on, but I also love this album. There is a song called Friend Zone. I’m thinking too bad this album didn’t come out when I was in high school because it would’ve gotten me through so many failed relationships and crushes. Hard to believe that my love for Thundercat’s music came from a TikTok with the audio from “Them changes”.
