I feel an affinity/connection with: Fae, crows, vampires, & sometimes werewolves or merfolk.

Unfortunately, I’m an adult with a job and a busy life (smh) so I don’t really have the time to investigate what the connections to these creatures are for me (like if this is some sorta otherkin thing or not. or maybe something else??) and I don’t really feel the need to find out. I just feel very “omg meeeee thats meee!!!” about these creatures and I’m content to leave it at that.

The creature that I feel the most affinity towards changes depending on my mood or the seasons but I think I’d link myself strongest with the fae (no specific kind in mind).

I will probably interact with otherkins, therians, and uhhhh anyone else who has fun cultivating a wild side and mentally escaping the modern almost hellscape we all live in. So consider me adjacent to all those lovely folk.

Please please please feel welcomed and encouraged to be a freaky little beastie at me, I will absolutely return that energy. Fuck it, rp with me even.

I’m a faekin and I’m a very whimsy filled creature! I love humans i think they are So cute. But i think a lot of humans don’t really stop to smell the flowers and actually enjoy being alive in this current time. It makes sense, a lot of things suck and are really scary right now. So i am committed to spreading joy and whimsy and trying to make humans’ lives a little bit brighter!

For the first time in a while I’m feeling weird with my human form.

As i ran around in the rain the fact that I had full hands felt wrong- where are my talons where are my wings. Being human isn’t bad but like… i wanna crow so so bad rn. Where are my feathers. Where is my beak

It rained for the first time in a while and goooooddddd i love the rain. I indulged my little corvid self for the first time. Physically I mean-

I ran out into the rain and hopped (as a happy crow does) around and ran with my arms out and pretended I was flying again. I moved and stood in the rain in hopes of cleaning my beak and wings - which is hard considering my current form has neither of those.

I even made some (admittedly more raven-esque) attempts at squawking and it made me really happy.

I felt like I was acting like a child but at the same time I felt very fulfilled and happy and that’s enough to make it worthwhile.

Growing out my claws is one of the ways I sort of “transition” my body more into a wolf. I grow out all of my claws and sharpen them into points. I upkeep them by putting fragrance free cuticle oil on them everyday and not washing it off. Fronts and backs.

I used to think I was a holothere but then I realized that doesn’t fit me right cause I acknowledge my humanity to a degree but also wish to physically turn my body wolfish. Like i don’t want to be fully a wolf but i’d like to make it obvious that I’m a wolf permanently.

I’d also like permanent fangs but I can’t find a quote for a price anywhere I can’t even seem to find anyone who does it in the US. I probably wouldn’t be able to afford anyway but maybe in a couple years when my job is more secure I can buy some of those custom fangs that you stick on your canines and can leave on while you eat and stuff. They are like 200$ I think which is probably nothing compared to the price of the surgery I’m sure.

I originally (specifically some of my headmates) wanted to make a quadrobics safe full kinsuit to turn us into a wolf and make it fully functional so I don’t have to take it off except to wash. But like that’s way out of my skill level I just make therian masks. And yeah I’m pretty good at it, but a full fur suit with a moving jaw that entirely conceals my humanness but doesn’t bake me like an oven in the summer heat… naaah man.

I’m personally pretty happy with fluffing up my hair growing my claws and getting some fangs and color contacts in the future.

Just enough to make it obvious that I’m a wolf. Maybe someday I’ll be able to make that fursuit or just a shirt that looks like how my torso should look would be nice relieve some dysphoria.
