Safety Audit Methodology:
Step-1: Pre-Audit
Each safety audit is based on documented audit procedure which includes objectives, scope, and criteria, physical locations, organizational units, activities and processes to be audited as well as the time period covered by the audit.
Formation of the Audit Team
The audit team consists of 2-4 team members. Each member is experienced and has the background to undertake in different disciplines. One of the members of the team is nominated as the leader.
Preparation of Safety Audit Check-list
A checklist covering important areas and the audit requirements are prepared before each audit.
Step-2: Audit
Opening meeting
