[dramatic sigh of longing for a romantic relationship]
Woodland spring, early May. Good time to take a deep breath.
I have never felt this way before, and to be quite honest, it feels as though this shit is consuming me whole. My anxiety is a constant in my life. A never ending cycle. The suspense is the worst. As I lay in bed every morning, preparing for the day, I feel it. Slowly building itself up for its appearance. It follows me throughout my day. A strong pressure, presence, on my shoulders that escalates to difficulty breathing–slow and shallow breaths. The constant knot in my stomach, not similar to the jitters I'd often feel as a kid when my childhood crush would compliment, or smile at me endearingly. This knot feels as though its purpose is to climb up my throat and consume me entirely. I hate living this way. The constant threat of whether or not it will show for the day. I truly cannot wait for the day this feeling ends. – I would never wish this on anyone.
