Esoteric Lore: Visual Storytelling

Esoteric Lore: Visual Storytelling is a growing collective of female artists who are unearthing creative outlets to explore aspects of black womanhood. With the use of photography, mixed media production, acrylic and oil paint, illustration, and print making techniques, we focus on the stories of a historically marginalized and minimized people.

If you are in the San Jose, California area please go and check out my bestie Taryn Crenshaw‘s documentary film entitled “The Quare in There”. Her film was recently accepted into San Jose’s Cinequest Film & VR Festival and will be screening throughout the month of March. I was lucky enough to be able to work on the theme song “Everybody” which is also featured in the film. The Quare in There is black + queer = creative activism. Please support and keep your eye on Taryn Crenshaw because you will be seeing a lot more of her amazing work in the future.
