Where to eat in Oia Santorini
The Esperas Santorini staff have a couple of strong recommendations for you today, on where to eat in Oia: Sunset Fish Tavern, and Ochre Wine Bistro:
Sunset Fish Tavern, Ammoudi : Seafood
In an idyllic location at the bottom of Oia’s red cliffs, right by the sea, you’ll find the Amoudi Sunset Taverna, home of the famous lobster pasta and fresh fish, this restaurant has been featured in the New York Times and Travel Channel as a recommended experience when in Santorini.
The restaurant is located directly below Esperas Santorini, at Ammoudi, an old fishing port. Using the lower door of the hotel you can walk to the restaurant in about 15 minutes, following the path below the hotel. Be prepared for a serious climb back up: there’s a 300 meter height differential which translates to 300-400 steps (we believe it’s worth it!).
We recommend booking early if you’d like a seaside table.

Ochre Wine Bistro: Contemporary Greek Cuisine
Ochre is located at the edge of Oia in Santorini, offering amazing views of the sunset. The restaurant has two outdoor levels, a cafe area, and a main dining area. It accommodates couples as well as events of up to 100 guests.
Ochre features a contemporary Greek cuisine gourmet menu and an exceptional wine selection.
Ochre Wine Bistro is the nearest restaurant to Esperas Santorini and you can get there on foot in less than 5 minutes from the hotel.
