Hello people! Here is the final version. I had some difficulties with Aoru’s booty looking too stiff…. but now I hope it’s looking correct😎 Anyway, the prints are on their way. Soon they will be available on my storenvy. I was so happy to work with colors again. Storyboarding is cool but sometimes I feel the urge to play with colors for no reason.

hey important thing kimetsu no yaiba is very good but fanartists please keep in mind that tanjirou’s earrings bear a striking resemblance to the rising sun flag and that in itself should already suggest that it be depicted with common sense and sensitivity

so like, pls don’t just slap that on as the entire background for fanart. i understand if someone doesn’t know about it and does it without any harmful intent. yes his hanafuda earrings are quite pretty, but it’s a bit tactless and still a little disturbing to see something in the likeness of a major symbol of japanese imperialism going around being used for a series set in the time period where the japanese occupation began to really swell. pls do ur research

SO neat thing i’ve learned that a number of korean and chinese fanartists have been actually omitting the rays in tanjirou’s earrings altogether to make them seem still like hanafuda (and apparently some anime airings actually change the rays into three horizontal bars)!! since there are already two perfectly good alternatives to it, please consider using these!!

with the current news about japan unwilling to ban the flag in question in the tokyo 2020 olympics i’m hoping more ppl learn about the entire issue around it
