He knew from the jump Kara wanted him and he still got with Lucy and had the audacity to be jealous when she kept on about her business because he chose Lucy and she had to at least try to let him go. And instead of just being with Lucy he played with Kara’s head. He literally confessed his feelings for Kara to Bizarro. And stayed with Lucy. Went to the Fortress of Solitude with Kara instead of to dinner with Lucy. Told Kara about the importance of the camera instead of Lucy. Unloaded all his baggage about his relationship with a Lucy on Kara knowing Kara liked him because let’s be real here, homegirl was trash at hiding it. James didn’t deserve any woman he got with tbh.

I’m rewatching supergirl and Livewire literally said Supergirl gives off sapphic vibes. It would’ve been so easy to go from there
